This guy has become an absolute star. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is hands-down one of the best players in the NBA, and too many people still don’t know his name. Tonight, SGA and the Thunder head to Cleveland in a matchup against the Cavaliers. For our first NBA parlay pick tonight, we’re firing up SGA to make one or more 3-pointers. A season ago, he attempted five 3-pointers per game and shot them at a 40% clip. The Thunder guard has made MORE than one 3-pointer in a game 102 times in his career. We’re not even looking for two; all we need is one.
Dennis Schroder 10+ Points (Alt NBA Player Prop)
One of the more surprising stories of NBA opening night was how many minutes the Raptors played their main rotational guys. Dennis Schroder got 33 minutes in Game 1 and did A LOT in those 33 minutes. He led the Raptors with 22 points and seven assists. It’s safe to say he is still in good form after the FIBA tournament. The Raptors get the Bulls tonight, and, well, the Bulls are just hot garbage. This team is so bad. But what we can do is exploit this terrible team for another great parlay pick. We’re taking Schroder to score 10-plus points tonight on an alternate line. I mean, this Bulls team can’t stop a nosebleed.
Ben Simmons Over 13.5 Rebounds + Assists (NBA Player Prop)
OK, this is where we’re getting a little spicy. Any time you put a Ben Simmons prop on your ticket, it doesn’t exactly feel great. But I do feel pretty good about this one. We know Simmons won’t be shooting a ton, but he still remains highly involved as a distributor and as a rebounder. So with the current number sitting at 13.5 for rebounds + assists, we have to take advantage of it. He had 17 combined rebounds and assists in the first game of the season, and the over/under is set at 232. So if a lot of points are expected, that means a lot of assist opportunities and a lot of shots that could need rebounded. Fire it up.
