Trae Young 25+ Points (NBA Player Prop)
We start our NBA parlay picks today with a man who has been a the walking man on fire gif. No, not Joel Embiid, there are no actual words for what he’s been doing lately.
We’re going to the Trae Young streets today, despite him having arguably the most punchable face in the NBA.
I like the Trae Young alternate points line of 25+ tonight against the Miami Heat. Trae has been cooking lately, and has gone for 30+ in five straight games.
The Miami defense has slipped a little of late, sitting right at league average in defensive rating this season, which is not typical for them. But, they’ve dealt with a lot of injuries of late, and they’re going to be without Jimmy Butler again tonight.
In his last seven games against the Heat, Trae has averaged just over 24 points per game. But, this Hawks team is a littled different than teams of the past.
They’re playing at a Top 5 pace this season, and are averaging the third-most points per game in the NBA (123). The game tonight has a 238.5 total with only a 1.5-point spread, so they’re thinking both teams should put up points. And if we’re getting near the 240 mark, Trae is getting his.

Tyler Herro 20+ Points (NBA Player Prop)
There’s nothing like a little correlation play on a Friday. Let’s stick in that same Heat-Hawks game and find another spot to attack since we just laid out why we think this could be a higher-scoring affair.
Tyler Herro has played two games since returning from injury and, wouldn’t you know it, the Heat lost their best scoring option almost immediately after her came back. So, what does that mean? More jacks for Herro. That’s what.
In his two games back, he’s scored 25 and 28 points, respectively. AND those were games against the Timberwolves and Magic. You know, the No. 1 and No. 5 teams in the NBA defensive rating rankings.
So, let’s just think for a second about what Herro could do against a team that’s, say, 27th in defensive rating and allows 123 points per game.
Yes, friends, all signs point to a Tyler Herro smash game here, but all we need is for him to score 20+ for this parlay.
Jamal Murray 20+ Points (NBA Player Props)
This is a payback spot, because Jamal Murray owes us some money. And it was in this very same matchup just a week ago.
Look. The Nets are absolutely atrocious at defending opposing guards. We know it. The reason why he didn’t cook these schmucks for more than 16 was because he never stepped foot back on the court after his third-quarter rotation.
This is a road game for Denver, and the spread is only 4.5, which is a tad surprising. So, if the books are thinking it’s going to be that close of a game, I’m going to take Jamal Murray for 20+ points tonight.
He’s gone for 20+ in five of his last seven games, and I think he’ll be highly involved in the pick and pop offense with Nikola Jokic tonight. Expect a lot of mid-range runners, pull-ups and some step-back 3s tonight from Murray to cash our ticket her.
Klay Thompson o20.5 Points (NBA Player Props)
The last four games for Klay Thompson have been just what the Warriors needed. Some vintage Klay.
In those games he’s scored 30, 24, 28 and 24 points and made 23 of his 46 shots from 3-point territory. I’m no math genius, but that’s like … 50%! This dude has gone straight NBA Jam “HE’S ON FIRE” mode.
And ooooooohhhhhh, baby, it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop tonight. Not against this Washington Wizards team that is just a sieve on defense.
The Wiz are the second-worst team in defensive rating this season and are giving up 126.5 points per game. Wowza. Not to mention, they give up the fourth-most points to opposing shooting guards as well.
I’ve learned in the past not to fade Klay Thompson when he’s on a heater, so we’re not going to do it tonight.
