Fred VanVleet continues to be out for the Houston Rockets, which means a LOT more Jalen Green in our lives, and we’re going to ride him until the books take away all the value.
For the first leg of our NBA parlay today, we’re firing up Jalen Green to score 20+ points.
In the first game without FVV, Green went off for 30 points. But, the most encouraging sign from that 30-point game isn’t the actual point total itself. It’s that he shot 21 times.
Volume is something we absolutely love to see, especially when we’re looking at points props. If we’re going to get Jalen Green shooting anywhere near 20 times, we’re absolutely jamming the 20+ points prop.
Tonight’s game against the Raptors has a 233.5 point total, which is pretty healthy. These teams just played about a week ago, and went over this total by 7 points.
Houston has hit the over in 6 of its last 10 games, and it seems like they could be in for another big scoring output tonight seeing as how Toronto is currently rocking the WORST defensive rating in the NBA over the last 15 games.
Onyeka Okongwu o21.5 Points + Rebounds (NBA Player Prop)
We’re, again, looking at a guy who is going to get a lot more action because of an injury. We’re out here trying to find absolute value on a Friday.
So, the second leg of our NBA parlay today is going to be Onyeka Okongwu over 21.5 points + rebounds.
We’ve been having some really strong reads on stat combo props of late, especially with John Collins. I just love that man.
With Clint Capela out (dude is now banned from his own team, not just our betting list 🤣), Okongwu has played 34 and 36 minutes, and has gone over the 21.5 points + rebounds in both games.
In a matchup against the 76ers and some combo of Paul Reed and Mo Bamba, I feel pretty good about Okongwu getting the job done for us.
On the season (and that includes games WITH Joel Embiid), the 76ers are only 23rd in team rebounding, while Atlanta is 8th. Let’s get ‘er done.
