NBA Parlay Picks Today: Monster Joel Embiid +546 Parlay (Jan. 5)

Alright. This is just getting flat out ridiculous. We’re losing parlays now on Nikola Jokic REBOUNDS?!? This NBA season must still be drunk from New Year’s. Wow. There’s a nice little 25% boost over at FanDuel Sportsbook tonight, so let’s use that when we fire up our NBA parlay picks today, and cook this baby all the up to +546. The time has come for a bang, my friends.

NBA Parlay Picks Today: +546 Parlay Friday

Joel Embiid 10+ Rebounds & 76ers ML (NBA Player Prop)

Yep. We’re doing it. We’re breaking out the Joel Embiid gif. Why?

Well, partly because I’m triggered, and partly because it’s one of the best things on planet earth if we’re being quite honest.

Whenever we need that slump-buster, we go right back to the big fella because we know he piles up the stats.

To kick off the NBA parlay today, we’re firing up the Joel Embiid 10+ Rebounds prop, because it’s sitting at a stupid number on FanDuel.

If you’ve been living under a rock, then you’re unaware of Embiid’s 30-point and 10-rebound streak — it’s at 12 games and the longest since some guy named Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1972. You think Embiid doesn’t care about that?!?

This man cares SOOOO MUCH about that. The 30 points is always tough, but we know he’s going to be sucking up (see what I did there … with the gif on the left and everything … heh) the rebounds. So, let’s get the 10+ rebounds fired up.

As a little sweetener for us, we’re going to add in the 76ers moneyline on this one.

Philly is -6.5 tonight at home taking on the Knicks. I don’t want to screw around with a decently sized spread, so let’s just get the Sixers to win straight up.

Jalen Johnson o28.5 PRA (NBA Player Props)

Man, has this guy been awesome to watch this season or what? Yes, he couldn’t quite get us those rebounds + assists we were looking for his last time out, but he still went nuclear in that game DESPITE foul trouble. He just did it with points.

Well, tonight, we’re getting the WHOLE SHABANG from him. We’re firing up the over on Jalen Johnson 28.5 PRAs in this matchup with the Pacers.

Much like we do with bigs against Charlotte, we are going all in on power forwards against the Pacers.

This season, Indy is giving up damn near 30 points per game (29.28) to opposing power forwards, as well as 10.8 rebounds per game.

Will Johnson get us there on points alone? I mean, probably not, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. We should see him get a NIIIICE matchup against Obi Toppin tonight, and with this game looking like it might be the fastest-paced game of the season so far in the NBA, we want to get in on the action.

I think Johnson is an underrated way of getting action on this game with a 260+ total.

Timberwolves ML (NBA Pick)

We’ve had to change our stance on the Houston Rockets this season. We’re giving them some flowers for being an emerging team and showing us they have some juice.

However, the No. 1 team in the Western Conference is coming to town tonight, and I think they’ll have something to say here.

The spread is currently sitting at Minnesota -3.5, but there’s something about covering 3.5 that scares me a little bit in this game, so we’re going to just grab the moneyline.

Minnesota isn’t a GREAT team against the spread, having a 15-16-2 record this season.

However, Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert are just a better trio, and I think Minnesota is the better team.

When I get value on the better team, I take it.
