NBA Parlay Picks Today: +455 Knicks-Mavs Bet for Thursday
Kyrie Irving 20+ Points & 5+ Assists (NBA Player Prop)
The big NBA news for Thursday’s games is that Luka Doncic will NOT be suiting up for the Mavs tonight. You hate to see it, but it does give us an opportunity to take advantage of some Kyrie-only minutes.
Let’s kick off our Knicks-Mavericks same game parlay with a pair of Kyrie Irving player props.
We’re going to fire up Kyrie for 20+ points and 5+ assists against the Knicks.
I’m very much aware that New York has played pretty strong defense against the point guard position all year, but Kyrie is a different beast, despite getting longer in the tooth.
Since returning on Jan. 1, Kyrie has reached the 5+ assists mark in three of five games, and has gone for 20+ points in all but one game. And now, he gets to play an entire game without sharing the floor with Luka.
It’s safe to say, more usage will be funneled his way, and he’ll definitely be needed to score AND facilitate against the Knicks tonight.
Julius Randle o8.5 Rebounds (NBA Player Prop)
I’m noted as being someone who is NOT a big fan of Julius Randle, so this isn’t as much a play FOR him, as it is a play AGAINST the Dallas Mavericks big men.
The Mavs are going to be without Derrick Lively and Maxi Kleber for this matchup against the Knicks, and will be trotting out the dud that is Dwight Powell again at the center position.
I can’t even tell you what kind of create-a-players they’re going to be rolling out at the power forward position.
But what I can tell you is that in their last game, Dallas played a beat-up Memphis team that had NO Jaren Jackson and was playing Bismack Biyombo (who just got cut) and Xavier Tillman — shoutout Michigan State Spartans! — at the 4 and 5.
And the Mavs were outrebounded by 21. I mean, WHAT?!?
Obviously, Randle isn’t a rebounding monster, but I can tell you he’s just as good on the glass as Biyombo and Tillman.
Even with the Knicks having Isaiah Hartenstein at center, I think we see Randle get on the glass tonight against an undersized Mavericks team tonight. Plus, if we know anything about Randle, it’s that he loves him some stat-padding.
OG Anunoby o13.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
I understand that OG Anunoby has been a bit underutilized since coming over from Toronto, but I mean, this line is just too low. Right?
I mean, c’mon. 13.5 points for this guy? He could make three 3-pointers in the first quarter and get us almost all the way there.
This is a spot where Anunoby could get a few more shot attempts just based on the pace-up nature of playing against the Mavs.
