Donte DiVincenzo Player Prop

New York Knicks sharpshooter Donte DiVincenzo draws a tough matchup tonight as the Knickerbockers travel to face the Cleveland Cavaliers, who own one of the NBA’s stingiest defenses. DiVincenzo was rolling through February draining three like crazy, with a five-game streak of at least four three-pointers made, but it came to an end on Thursday when he went 2-for-12 from deep against the Golden State Warriors.

The Cleveland Cavaliers rank second in the NBA in defensive three-point field goal percentage, holding opponents to 34.5% from beyond the arc. The Cavs also slow down the pace of play quite a bit, which projects to reduce DiVincenzo’s volume as well. Though he has been a lights-out shooter for most of the season, the Cavaliers will look to close down space on the perimeter with long, lanky wings Isaac Okoro, Caris Levert and Max Strus potentially guarding him.

DiVincenzo averaged 4.5 made three-point field goals per game in the month of February, but the low line suggests that this tough matchup will impact his shooting. Game log bettors might be firing on the over, but sharp books like Pinnacle have this going under 3.5 at -115. I’ll ride with the sharps on this one.

NBA Player Prop Pick: Donte DiVincenzo under 3.5 3PM (+105 on Bet365)

Precious Achiuwa Player Prop

Since being traded to the New York Knicks at the deadline, power forward Precious Achiuwa is finally beginning to settle into a starting role with his new team. With Julius Randle missing time with an injury, Achiuwa has ascended into the starting lineup, but draws a tough matchup with Cleveland big men Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. Our OddsShopper premium tools have Achiuwa projected to go under his rebounding total in Sunday’s matchup.

Our NBA betting tools are showing the true odds for Achiuwa’s rebounding under at -115. Bettors can gain an edge on the books if they place this bet at FanDuel, listed at -104. Meanwhile, Pinnacle, a sharp book, lists the under 8.5 rebounds for -136, a massive discrepancy. OddsShopper calculates true odds by indexing odds available at all books and adjusting for book sharpness and hold.

NBA Player Prop Pick: Precious Achiuwa under 8.5 rebounds (-104 on FanDuel)

Tyrese Haliburton Player Prop

After an absolute dud of a game on Friday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is primed for a bounce-back game in this pace-up spot against the San Antonio Spurs. With both teams ranked in the league’s top-three in pace of play, this game should be a fun, fast, frivolous scoring fest, allowing Haliburton to distribute for buckets early and often.

In 21 games this season in which he plays at least 34 minutes, Haliburton has reached at least 12 assists 16 times. He’s also recorded at least 12 assists in five of his last eight games. After playing just 23 minutes on Friday night against the Pelicans, Haliburton should be fresh and ready to go for a full workload on Sunday.

The San Antonio Spurs have been uninspiring on defense this season, ranking in the bottom five of the NBA in defensive rating as well as assists allowed per game. Though rookie phenomenon Victor Wembanyama is already an upper-echelon rim protector, the Pacers have enough weapons to attack this San Antonio defense and create assist opportunities for their All-Star point guard.

NBA Player Prop Pick: Tyrese Haliburton over 11.5 assists (-128 on FanDuel)
