We hit the weekend with a bunch of options across Portfolio EV. With 13 games on the docket, there is tremendous value on the betting board. A couple of key games stand out early in the season as the undefeated Cavaliers host the 7-1 Warriors. The Suns are in Dallas, and the Celtics look to bounce back from a home loss as they welcome in Brooklyn. Let’s continue to profit as we find the top NBA player props to attack for Friday night.

The hits keep coming — not for me, or you if you’re tailing my Road to 100 NBA units on Twitter. Rather, the books keep getting smoked by Portfolio EV. While variance comes and goes, it’s banking on the hot streaks that make the colder days easier to bear. There are a good number of games, meaning a bunch of smaller-market plays; that’s where Portfolio EV does so much damage.
These smaller markets, i.e., a lesser-known player or a lesser-bet category, are far easier to beat with these books offering so many props. The market leaves itself far more vulnerable with a 13-game slate, as opposed to last night with just three games — all at the same time. You will see how we find some incredible +EV spots based on our ability to match bets against the sharpest books on the planet. I started the month down nearly 20 units and am up over 30 units through Nov. 7. Take advantage of these tools now.
Portfolio EV cooked the sportsbooks for a 34,701-28,301 (7.6% ROI) record on NBA props just one season ago. You can find all of our +EV betting results posted for free on our site too. With Portfolio EV, you can get lots of bets with positive expected value (+EV) down quickly via our Mass Entry tool.
Darius Garland and his undefeated Cavaliers host a Warriors team primed for a letdown. Golden State just waltzed into Boston and handed the Celtics a rare home loss. It has to follow that up with a battle against the league’s top team.
We like him to stay under 7.5 assists in scoring mode or possibly limited due to the Warriors. The best part is it truly doesn’t matter how he gets there; the means justify the play. We are betting this at -130, which is significantly better than the -141 true odds. That’s just what the actual retail price of what the bet should be.
The bet is not just beating that price; it’s beating everyone else. We do the same with Mikal Bridges as we bet it at +105 on DraftKings. Staying under 3.5 assists is only offered as a plus-money play at one book; the rest are taking juice. Even the true odds are -103.
It’s not always about staying ahead of bets with a plus-money return. Jusuf Nurkic staying under 23.5 points + rebounds + assists is best bet at DraftKings at -105. It remains a great bet with a 3.7% EV edge thanks to beating the -113 true odds and the rest of the market. This is easy stuff. The more analysis you add, the more risk you have of diluting the edge.
Nurkic has a tough matchup up front against Dallas. While he started off hot, he’s regressed a bit and stands to take a step back in Dallas. Bridges is in scoring mode with his role on the Knicks. The Bucks are so prime for a ripping by the Knicks that Bridges should be more focused on scoring than passing.
