Alex Caruso Over 1.5 Steals (+125)

This is the only bet on the board here with less than a 50% expected win on NBA Bet Pro, but it is just a hair below the top two EV NBA player props of the day. Caruso is one of the league’s better steal artists, averaging 1.5 a game and recording multiple steals in 16 of 36 games. Obviously, that is less than 50%, but for such a volatile, unreliable stats like steals, it’s about all one could ask from a plus-money prop.

Caruso did not get to two steals in any of the last four games, but he did in each of the four before that. It’s all about streaks with him, and a matchup with Oklahoma City is a good spot for him to get back on that track. The Thunder are guard-dominant, so Caruso will be defending the ball a ton. Plus, the young Oklahoma City squad plays at a very fast pace and turns it over at a decent rate, making Caruso’s over a solid gamble.

Of course, an NBA player prop with a lower expected win rate, like this one, could benefit from some added bank roll, and DraftKings has just the thing to help. All new users need to do is bet $5 on any moneyline and DraftKings will supply you with $200 in bonus bets! That will help you pull the trigger on a plus-money wager like this one.

Ivica Zubac Over 8.5 Rebounds (-115)

Going up against Nikola Jokic (who is questionable) is never a great time to target overs on rebounds, but Zubac has been a different type of animal this season. He is averaging a career-high 10.5 this year — two more than he has had in any other season — and he has registered at least nine rebounds in just over half of his games (21 of 41).

Zubac is 1-for-2 on this over taking on the Nuggets this year, grabbing nine boards in a Nov. 25 game (Jokic had 13) and just five in a matchup last week. Jokic may not play tonight, which would make this bet even more lockable, but NBA Bet Pro loves this spot in general for Zubac; it is giving high EV and expected win marks for both his points and his rebounds.

Andrew Wiggins Over 1.5 3-Pointers (-145)

Wiggins is just returning from a 15-game absence, but before that he had been cooking from 3 — making at least three in seven of nine games, including three games with at least six. He has been a bit cold in the two games since his return, going just 2-for-11 overall. However, now that he has a couple games under his belt, it is safe to bet on him getting back to his regular 3-point shooting numbers, as he has made multiple 3’s in 20 of 24 games this year.

This prop is the No. 1 prop on the NBA Bet Pro board for short-term EV and long-term sEV, plus it has a 65% expected win rate.
