Stephen Curry Over 5.5 Rebounds

First things first, presumably Stephen Curry is going to play tonight. He sat out Friday despite not having an injury designation much of the day, so that could always happen again, but that was also a back-to-back. With several days of rest now, Curry is almost certainly going to suit up.

This has been by far Curry’s best rebounding season of his career, averaging 6.4, nearly a full rebound more than his previous high of 5.5. He has also grabbed at least six rebounds in 19 of 31 games this season (61.3%) and five of his last eight. And with the Nets now without Kevin Durant, they have become an extremely subpar rebounding team, ranking dead last in the NBA in rebounding percentage over the last five games. For reference, Kyrie Irving, who for his career averages less than four rebounds a game, is projecting for the third-most boards tonight for Brooklyn.

All told, Stokastic’s PrizePicks NBA Player Props Tool has Curry recording 6.9 rebounds in 35.2 minutes, and the over has a 68% win expectancy.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 6.0 Assists

It always helps these under plays on PrizePicks when they bump up the industry consensus line by a half point. Only Unibet has this over/under at 6.5, while every other sportsbook set Shai Gilgeous-Alexander assists to 5.5. And since Stokastic is only projecting Gilgeous-Alexander for 4.88 assists, PrizePicks is only helping under bettors out by awarding that extra half point.

Gilgeous-Alexander has not averaged more than six assists per game in any season, but the emergence of Josh Giddey as a playmaker has moved Gilgeous-Alexander into a much more scoring-dominant player. And he has been phenomenal in that role, averaging 30.6 points per game and trending towards a potential All-NBA nod, but Giddey is the one racking up the assists in the meantime.

Gilgeous-Alexander has only recorded seven-plus assists 13 times in 42 games (31%). The only real hang-up here is the number of pushes he has — nine games with exactly six assists — but the under is still the most common result (20 games, 47.6%). The matchup with Denver will also be tough for him since the Nuggets are fifth in defensive rating over the last 10 games and allowed the ninth-fewest assists per game in that span. Even Giddey is only projecting for 6.5 assists, and he has exceeded this mark in four of the last six.

Stokastic’s PrizePicks NBA Player Props Tool gives Gilgeous-Alexander’s under a 74% expected win rate, making it the No. 1 play on the PrizePicks board.
