Best NBA Player Props | Jan. 6

3. Brook Lopez Under 7.5 Rebounds (-145)

Giannis Antetokounmpo is largely sniping any high rebounding production Lopez could hope to have. Antetokounmpo has grabbed double-digit boards in 11 of his last 14 games, including three with at least 20, while Lopez has been relegated to single digits in all but three of those games. Granted, all three of these came in Milwaukee’s most recent games, but Lopez has still gone under this line in 23 of 37 this season (62.2%) and nine of the last 15. NBA Bet Pro projects him for 6.1 rebounds and a 64% expected win rate for the under.

2. Rui Hachimura Over 4.5 Rebounds (-130)

For all the skill the Oklahoma City Thunder have in the backcourt, they are really hurting for strength up front. The Thunder are 26th in the NBA in rebound rate, and their two leading rebounders are guards: Josh Giddey and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. On top of that, they are still without key big men Aleksej Pokusevski and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, who both largely play power forward and combine for over 10 rebounds a game.

So while Hachimura’s rebounding is pedestrian for frontcourt player (4.7 per game), he has a strong matchup for getting on the glass. Stokastic has him at a whopping 6.2 rebounds tonight, well above both his season and career averages.

1. Delon Wright Over 1.5 Steals (+145)

He has only played 10 games, but Wright is racking up steals at a career-best rate. He is averaging 2.2 a game — 0.6 more than he has in any season prior — and had multiple steals in all but three games this year. In fact, Wright has recorded at least three steals in half of his games.

The Thunder do not turn the ball at an extraordinarily high rate, and as a result, NBA Bet Pro gives this over less than a 50% chance of hitting (46%). But it still projects him for 1.9 steals and has the over as the No. 1 EV play on the board for Friday. Plus, if you are in need of some bank roll in order to make a play like this, DraftKings is offering its best deal ever! All you need to do is bet $5 on any moneyline and DraftKings will supply you with $200 in bonus bets! That will alleviate some of the sweat of a plus-money wager like this one.
