DeMar DeRozan H/L Than 23.5 Points

As prolific and consistent of a scorer as DeMar DeRozan is – tonight’s matchup could cause challenges.

DeRozan and the Kings will be on the second leg of a back-to-back after falling 111-110 in overtime on Sunday night. To make matters worse, the loss came on a Kawhi Leonard game-winning buzzer-beater.

A loss like that is tough to shake, especially with a quick turnaround against a gritty opponent like the New York Knicks.

Granted, New York’s defense has regressed a bit, but they still possess a tough identity and can wreak havoc on DeRozan’s offensive rhythym.

Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have DeRozan scoring just 21.5 points in this content. It appears the betting market is inflating his numbers just a tad too much for this game.

Tari Eason H/L Than 1.5 3-Pointers Made

Tari Eason and the Rockets host the Magic tonight in what shapes up to be a slow, defensive battle. Both teams play at a deliberate pace and boast strong defenses.

Orlando enters the matchup ranking second in Points per 100 Possessions allowed and gives up the fewest three-point attempts (34.6%). Eason prefers to score near the rim—where 47% of his shots come from—Orlando ranks 19th in attempts allowed in that area (32.1%), so we should expect him to hang around his comfort zone for a majority of the game.

Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have Eason making just one three-pointer at most tonight, and I agree. Expect him to stay under 1.5 made threes.
