Thursday’s NBA slate features just five games, however there are still an abundance of prop bets to work with. Let’s take a look at a pair of props for today’s games with my two favorite NBA Underdog Fantasy pick’em predictions.

Tyrese Haliburton H/L Than 10.5 Assists
One area where Tyrese Haliburton has thrived is playmaking, averaging 9.2 assists per game and 10.4 over his last five outings.

His recent success has pushed his assists prop as high as 10.5. While that number reflects his consistency, it feels a bit too ambitious for this particular matchup.
The Cleveland Cavaliers rank 8th in assists allowed per game (25.6), thanks in large part to their strong overall defense. They’re 4th in defensive effective field goal percentage and 8th in points allowed per 100 possessions.
So, while Haliburton has been a consistent facilitator all season, this looks like a good spot to target the under on his assists prop, given the inflated number and tough opponent.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: Tyrese Haliburton Lower Than 10.5 Assists
Jaren Jackson Jr. H/L Than 27.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
One of the more intriguing matchups throughout Thursday night’s NBA slate is the Memphis Grizzlies hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Both teams feature a handful of offensive playmakers and formidable defenses. Even with Minnesota’s tough defensive interior, I believe Jaren Jackson Jr. can still play efficiently. He’s faced this Timberwolves team twice already this season: in the first meeting, he scored 33 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and added 1 assist; in the second, he posted 24 points, 11 rebounds, but no assists. In both games, he cleared 27.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists — and I’m expecting him to do that once again.
Stokastic’s NBA DFS Projections have Jackson at 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists — just over this mark. I always like to confirm my bets with Stokastic’s data, and while this isn’t a massive edge, I’m actually a bit more bullish on Jackson’s numbers tonight than the projections suggest. Still, it’s reassuring to see the data backing this play.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: Jaren Jackson Jr. Higher Than 27.5 Points+ Rebounds + Assists
