College Baseball Tournament 2023 Betting Odds & Picks Today: Super Regionals
Fort Worth Super Regional: TCU vs. Indiana State | Friday, 5 p.m. ET
No team in college baseball is hotter than the TCU Horned Frogs — at least at the plate. I got action on TCU to advance from the super regional at odds of -160 on Monday, but that number shortened to -190. TCU’s run to the next round should start with a resounding win in Game 1 against Indiana State.
The Horned Frogs own one of the NCAA’s most terrifying offenses. Although they had a tepid run during conference play, they bounced back to win the Big 12 tournament with an average run differential of 8.3 across their games. They carried that momentum into the Fayetteville Regional last weekend and recorded an average run differential of a whopping 10.3.
TCU’s advantage on offense becomes obvious once you look at the numbers. The Horned Frogs rank 37th in OBP (.403), 41st in OPS (.895) and 59th in total home runs (85). The Sycamores rank 164th (.377), 155th (.820) and 113th (72) in those metrics, respectively. With TCU hosting, expect them to start the series off with a multi-run victory.

Hattiesburg Super Regional: Southern Miss vs. Tennessee | Saturday, 3 p.m. ET
I’m surprised more sharp action hasn’t come in on Southern Miss to win the series, but if I can get the Golden Eagles in the plus money to just win Game 1, I’m not going to complain. Southern Miss has one of the NCAA’s best starters in RHP Tanner Hall. Hall boasts an elite 2.08 ERA through a monstrous 108 innings pitched.
The Tennessee Volunteers will likely start their ace, RHP Andrew Lindsey, but his numbers just aren’t as impressive. He owns a 2.40 ERA but through only 63.2 innings and seven games. Hall has allowed only 16 earned runs at home across 66.2 innings pitched all season. Lindsey has allowed six on the road in just 24.2 innings pitched.
The other note here is that the Volunteers have struggled when not playing at home. They went a miserable 6-14 outside of Knoxville in the regular season and are 5-12 in away games. In contrast, Southern Miss is an impressive 27-5 at home. The Golden Eagles even outrank the Volunteers in the RPI.
