When that’s the case, the better offensive team has the edge — and that’s Alabama.
We’ve already seen two high-scoring games between these teams this season, and Alabama looked strong in both. Now, facing Kentucky for the third time, I don’t expect the game plan to change much. Alabama thrives in up-tempo, offensive-driven games, and they should be able to outgun Kentucky once again.
There are two key reasons I’m backing Alabama here:
Kentucky Played Yesterday – While it’s just a one-game difference, teams playing back-to-back days in conference tournaments can wear down late — just like we saw with Kansas against Arizona. Alabama has slightly fresher legs and could pull away late.
Alabama’s Shooters Have the Edge – In a game where 3-point shooting will be a deciding factor, I trust Alabama’s scorers and depth more than I trust Kentucky’s consistency. If Alabama’s shooters get hot, they can easily win this game by double digits.
Alabama is coming off a big road win over Auburn, and with a neutral-site setting tonight, I see them covering the spread and advancing with ease. If the line moves up to 7.5 or 8, look for reduced juice to get the best number possible.
