Start off your parlay with Miami playing at home against Virginia Tech in an ACC matchup. The Hokies are not a great team (13-8, 3-7 in ACC) but have won two straight games against Duke and Syracuse. On the other hand, Miami is a more solid squad and is in a good spot to bounce back from their road struggles. They have four players averaging double figures, and Isaiah Wong leads the way with 78 points per game. With a 143.5-point total, this is a good spot for Miami to show their well-balanced team against a Virginia Tech team that has to hit the road.
Arkansas vs. Texas A&M: Arkansas -3.5 (-110)
This game is the toughest of the three picks. Texas A&M is a solid team, but Arkansas is playing at home, which is a huge advantage. Arkansas is a team with a big home/road split; they are almost unbeatable in their home building. The Razorbacks draw a lot of fouls, get to the line and are starting to develop a solid rotation of players.
The pick for this game is Arkansas -3.5. They will be the more physical team on the inside, make some shots and have a better overall performance at home.
Alabama vs. Vanderbilt: Alabama -16 (-110)
Alabama is the favorite in this game, but with a spread of -16 points, it’s a lot to cover. However, Alabama is playing well and Vanderbilt is struggling. The Crimson Tide have won nine of their last 10 games, with their only loss coming to a good Kentucky team. So despite the massive spread for a conference game, the pick is Alabama -16.
