Jayden Epps o22.5 PRA

Beginning in the Big East, Georgetown currently has a 8-9 record behind the 141st most difficult schedule. Meanwhile, Xavier holds a 9-8 record with the fifth most difficult schedule. Even with a similar record, Xavier still enter this game as a 12.5 point favorite in a game with a 149.5 total.

Even as a substantial underdog, Georgetown is still implied to score just above 68 points. This creates an interesting scoring environment for Georgetown point guard Jayden Epps. Since returning from injury, Epps has logged 29, 39, and 37 minutes. Within that span, he accounts for 31% of Georgetown’s shots, 8.4% of rebounds, and 40.7% of assists. Xavier ranks 30th in defensive efficiency, but Epps provides enough scoring paths to target in the prop market here. Epps projects for 24.9 points-rebounds-assists on the back end for us.

Kel’el Ware o21.5 PRA

Moving over to the Big Ten, Indiana heads to Madison to battle Wisconsin as an 11 point underdog in a game with a 142.5 total. Largely a disappointing season for Indiana, the Hoosiers still have a 12-6 record with the 38th most difficult schedule. Meanwhile, Wisconsin sits at 13-4 behind the sixth ranked strength of schedule.

Another underdog, Indiana is implied for nearly 66 points in this matchup. Both teams have strong frontcourts here, but Indiana’s front court should still find success here. Both front courts are excellent in drawing fouls. Tyler Wahl draws 5.7 fouls per 40 minutes, but Steven Crowl trails a little at 3.9 fouls drawn per 40.

This is important for Kel’el Ware, who should see more time against Crowl at the five. Excellent at drawing fouls himself, Ware actually only commits 2.6 fouls per 40 on the offensive end. As long as Ware stays out of foul trouble, he should smash this matchup. Ware averages 31 minutes per game, accounting for 16.5% shot rate, 24.8% rebound rate, and a 10.8% assist rate. With a 34 minute projection, Ware comes in at 24.9 points-rebounds-assists.
