College Basketball Betting Picks & Odds | Feb. 23

College Basketball Odds: Robert Morris (-10.5) vs. IUPUI

Insider Access Discord identified this bet as a value at -9.5, and the number has jumped to -10.5. With IUPUI covering back-to-back games and returning home, bookmakers opened the line a little short here. On the other side, Robert Morris has also played some of its best basketball in recent weeks. The Colonials just upset Youngstown State 83-64 and beat Milwaukee by 20 points in the game prior. Despite opening inside 10, Robert Morris still provides value here.

From a stylistic perspective, this game favors Robert Morris in all facets. The Colonials hold the edge in offensive efficiency, defensive efficiency, rebounding and turnover margin against IUPUI. Even the Jaguars’ lone strength in the post is counteracted by the Robert Morris defense. IUPUI ranks 126th in interior scoring, but Robert Morris is 44th in interior defense.

College Basketball Odds: Stanford vs. Washington State Under 134.5

This number has been pulled of the board at a number of books, but the Insider Access Discord found under 134.5 prior to the removal. Once up again, this number should be targeted towards the under. A rematch from earlier this year, Washington State won an absolute grinder by a score of 60-59. With one data point already pointing towards the under, expect this number to take money throughout the day.

Both of these teams play incredibly slowly. Since Jan. 1, Washington State ranks 326th in adjusted tempo, while Stanford is 310th. Plus, they have slowed even further during conference play. Additionally, both teams play solid defense. Washington State in particular has drastically improved its defensive efficiency, jumping from 119th on the year to 41st since Jan. 1.

College Basketball Odds: Penn State vs. Ohio State Under 142.5

This is another tightly contested conference matchup, and Penn State and Ohio State have yet to face each other this year. However, neither team has lived up to expectations, and Ohio State just lost Zed Key for the season. With both teams playing slowly and improving on defense, the under is the preferred play.

Ohio State and Penn State rank 123rd and 197th, respectively in adjusted defensive efficiency. While these numbers may not stand out, they are both improvements from the season-long metrics. Likewise, both teams have slowed their pace since Jan. 1, with Ohio State ranking 217th in adjusted tempo and Penn State 296th.

College Basketball Expert Betting Pick: Under 142.5 (-110) at BetMGM
