College Basketball Odds:

Per DraftKings:

Hofstra and Charleston have been the frontrunners in the Colonial Athletic Conference all season. Both schools finished conference play with 16-2 records. Hofstra won the only meeting between the two 85-81 in Charleston, giving them the tiebreaker for the #1 overall seed.

Despite the win and seeding, the Pride are slight underdogs to win the CAA tournament at +180. College of Charleston is a -120 favorite. The top five is rounded out by Towson (+600), UNC Wilmington (+1000) and Drexel (+2500). The full tournament seeding is set.

College of Charleston features a balanced attack with no players standing out in any statical category. The Cougars’ leading scorer is Dalton Bolon who has averaged 12.7 points per game. That mark is good for the 13th highest in the entire conference.

On the other hand, Hofstra’s season has rested on the back of the star guard tandem of Aaron Estrada and Jaquan Carlos. Estrada ranks second in the CAA in scoring and sixth in assists. Carlos is leading the league in assists per game and has been a key facilitator of the offense.

Hofstra last won the CAA tournament in 2020. The tournament win came after the Pride took down the CAA regular season that year. Charleston last won the CAA tournament in 2018 after splitting that season’s regular season crown with Northeastern.

Behind the leaders in the CAA college basketball odds, the board is rounded out by several longshots. The biggest underdog is Hampton (+5000).
