Ben Rasa’s College Basketball Bet of the Day: Kansas vs. TCU (February 20)

It’s the NBA All Star break, but Monday still has a bunch of games in the college hoops market, including a massive contest between Kansas and TCU. Both teams are tournament bound, but this win would go a long way towards seeding and finishing the season strong. Let’s check out the best bet for Kansas-TCU on Monday, Feb. 20.

Sharp College Basketball Bet: Kansas-TCU

TCU is a 1.5-point favorite in the game and just a 0.5-point favorite for the first half. The Horned Frogs are at home with two of their stars now healthy for what should be a high-intensity game. The last time out, they hung 100 points on Oklahoma State, and this is a different team with Mike Miles back in the lineup. Add in that TCU, like most teams, starts fast at home and is more efficient in their building.

On the other side, Kansas is playing good ball, winning four straight, but this is a difficult spot. The Jayhawks hit the road against a full-strength TCU squad, and Kansas scores around 3 fewer points on the road than at home in the first half of games. These little edges add up, and TCU should have a quick start at home. Lay the half point with the Horned Frogs, as they should enter halftime with the lead.
