The NFL season is officially complete, which turns out sights to March Madness. The tournament is rapidly approaching, and there are plenty of opportunities to evaluate these teams before the big dance. Tonight features some marquee matchups, including a game between West Virginia and Baylor in which the Bears are 6.5-point favorites. Let’s break down the best college basketball bet for Monday, Feb. 13.
Sharp College Basketball Bet: West Virginia vs. Baylor
West Virginia is 15-10 and towards the bottom of the Big 12. This team just lost by 34 points on Saturday at Texas, and it does not get any easier heading to Baylor. The Mountaineers are an aggressive team, but like most, they really prefer playing at home. They have a lone road win in conference, and most of the time they will struggle to stay in this type of game.
Baylor should keep its good form going and cover this number. The Bears have won 9 of 10, including a road win last time out against TCU. This is a deep team with multiple bigs, plenty of guards and a superstar freshman in Keyonte George who is only getting better. Baylor went on the road and beat West Virginia by 5 already, so this could get out of hand back at home.
