College Football PrizePicks Predictions for Week 10

TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State, More/Less Than 82.5 Rushing Yards

After missing more than a month of action due to injury, Henderson returned to the Buckeyes last week and dominated the Wisconsin defense, rushing for 162 yards and a touchdown on 24 attempts. The lead back coming into the season, Henderson has the job back and is primed for another big performance against a weak Rutgers defense that allowed more than 200 rushing yards to both Michigan and Wisconsin.

Ohio State is favored by 18.5 points with a 49.5 game total.  Stokastic projections have Henderson rushing for 115.2 yards.

Jawhar Jordan, Louisville, More/Less Than 20.5 Fantasy Score

Jordan is averaging a 21.5 fantasy score over his last five games. This includes a 2.4 fantasy point effort against Pitt, where he played just two snaps before being ruled out for the game due to injury. Jordan proved to us last week against Duke that he’s fully healthy, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts.

He has 11 total touchdowns and had found the endzone in 6-of-7 games if you dismiss the Pitt game. With 120 touches on the season and being the clear focal point of the offense, Jordan gets a favorable matchup against the Virginia Tech Hokies this week. The Hokies allow 150 rushing yards per game and rank 123rd in run defense according to PFF.

Louisville is a 9.5 point favorite with a game total of 49.5. We have Jordan projected for 22.75 fantasy points. He will get more than 20.5 on Saturday.

Michael Penix Jr, Washington, More/Less Than 372.5 Passing Yards

Michael Penix Jr. will face a bad USC defense that gave up 49 points to 3-5 Cal last week. He also gets a chance to show up last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams. This game has an insane 76.5 point total, one of the highest of the year. When we went with more last week on his passing prop against Stanford, it was at 335.5.

Is it crazy that this is 37 yards more? No. Washington was favored by 27.5 points in that game, and Penix still threw the ball 37 times for 369 passing yards. The Huskies are only favored by three points in this game, expecting a back-and-forth shootout.

USC’s defense ranks in the bottom 15 in total yards allowed and ranks 104th in tackling per PFF. This is a great matchup for Penix Jr and his opportunity to put a stamp on the Heisman trophy with a big performance. We have him projected for 386.8 passing yards, but I think he’ll go for 400.
