College Football PrizePicks Predictions for Week 13

Jaylen Wright, Tennessee, More/Less Than 17.5 Fantasy Score

Jaylen Wright leads Tennessee with 935 rushing yards on 7.5 yards per attempt. He also has 23 targets on the season and has had no problem dominating the bad teams, with six 100-yard rushing games. The Volunteers are 27.5-point favorites over Vanderbilt suggesting Wright could have a big game. At just 2-9, it is no surprise that Vanderbilt ranks 124th in defense allowing 440 total yards and 35.1 points per game.

Last week Tennessee got hammered by No. 1 Georgia 38-10 and went pass heavy after falling behind early. Wright only had nine carries in that game but lead all running backs with 25 snaps. He has a big bounce back game at home against a horrible defense this week.

Donovan Edwards, Michigan, More/Less Than 35.5 Rushing Yards

Michigan will host Ohio State in their biggest game of the year and will be without  head coach Jim Harbaugh for another week as he’s carries out his suspension. The Wolverine’s are 3.5-point favorites with a moderate 46.5 total. If you’re unfamiliar with Donovan Edwards he is the change of pace running back for Michigan that gets most of the passing work. Blake Corum leads the team with 180 rushing attempts while Edwards comes in second with 95.  Edwards averages just 3.4 yards per attempt and has eclipsed 35.5 rushing yards just five times in 11 games. Ohio State ranks top-10 in the country in both run defense and tackling according to PFF.

The Buckeyes allow just 108.8 rushing yards per game and although Michigan is favored in this one, its going to be tough running for Edwards. OddsShopper’s Positive EV Bets tool tells us that going less than on this prop has a 4% EV rating and a 57% Win%. Multiple operators have this number at 30.5 with some at 28.5.

Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State, More/Less Than 130.5 Rushing Yards

BYU allows 177.2 rushing yards per game and ranks 125th in run defense according to PFF. Ollie Gordon II is arguably the best running back in the country averaging 6.7 yards per attempt. He is tied with North Carolina’s Omarian Hampton for the most rushing yards in college football with 1,414 and most rushing touchdowns with 15.

Gordon II lost a fumble and had just 12 carries in Week 11 as Oklahoma State got crushed by UCF 45-3. Anyone who was concerned about that performance got reminded last week why this guy is the best. In a 43-30 victory over Houston, Gordon bounced back with 164 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He’s had 25 rushing attempts in five of his last six games.  Oklahoma State is a 16.5-point home favorite in a game with a 56.5 total.
