Colorado-Oregon Odds – Early Week 4 Look
As of Sunday, the Ducks are firm favorites on the college football odds board for Week 4’s meeting with the Buffaloes. Most sportsbooks, including FanDuel Sportsbook, have the spread at 19.5 points, while the over/under is available at 70.5 points right now.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.
Colorado College Football Futures Overview
It sure wasn’t the prettiest of wins, but Deion Sanders and his Buffaloes did just enough to squeak out a 43-35 win in double overtime over Colorado State this past weekend. Colorado was a hefty betting favorite coming in but was pushed to the limits on their home turf.
Defensively the Buffaloes struggled. It was only thanks to the heroics of quarterback Shedeur Sanders and the offense that they kept their perfect record alive. Sanders was 38 of 47 for 348 yards with four touchdowns and one interception, while Xavier Weaver (nine catches for 98 yards and a TD), Michael Harrison (seven catches for 76 yards and two TDs) and Jimmy Horn Jr. (seven catches for 66 tards and a TD) were the biggest beneficiaries in the passing game. Travis Hunter had two catches for 21 yards before his injury.
With the narrow victory, Colorado’s championship odds are now in the +6000 to +8000 range depending on which betting platform you’re using.
If we shift gears in the college football futures to the Pac-12 winner, the Buffaloes are +650 at Caesars Sportsbook, behind USC (+200), Washington (+375), Oregon (+375) and Utah (+600).
Oregon College Football Futures Overview
The Ducks have opened 2023 with victories over Portland State (81-7), Texas Tech (38-30) and Hawaii (55-10).
Last week was pure dominance from start to finish for Oregon, who jumped out to a 28-0 first-quarter lead over the Rainbow Warriors and never looked back. Quarterback Bo Nix was highly efficient, completing 21 of 27 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns, with receivers Troy Franklin and Tez Johnson each grabbing a pair of touchdowns. The Ducks were excellent in the run game too, totaling 30 rush attempts for 227 yards and three touchdowns.
Following the win, Oregon can be found in the +3000 to +3500 range to win the national championship, while being listed at +375 to win the Pac-12 at Caesars Sportsbook as we mentioned earlier.
This is going to be a fun one, and later this week OddsShopper will have a more in-depth preview of the Colorado-Oregon matchup, along with tons more free CFB betting content to digest leading into Week 4 of the season.
