Free College Football Expert Pick Today: Tulane-Florida

Now let’s talk about yesterday. The Broncos-Chargers game did not support us. I was on the under, and, well, that went sideways in a hurry. It was a weird game, strange scoring, and we weren’t even close. But as always, we turn the page and move forward.

Free CFB Expert Pick: Florida -10

Florida made huge strides from where it started this season. It began the year getting crushed by Miami, but this is not the same Gators squad anymore. It’s improved dramatically, finishing the season at 7-5 with quality wins over LSU, Ole Miss and a dominant showing against Florida State. This team is trending in the right direction, and its coach, who was on the hot seat earlier in the year, has completely turned things around.

Quarterback D.J. Lagway has improved with experience, and Florida’s roster looks intact and motivated for this bowl game. While it’s had players enter the portal, it hasn’t decimated its depth. It’s ready to play and carry serious momentum into this matchup.

On the other side, Tulane comes in with more questions than answers. Its quarterback situation is messy, with multiple players in the transfer portal. Ty Thompson, the third-string quarterback, is expected to start, but good luck against Florida’s defense.

Tulane’s season has been solid, but its level of competition is a concern. It dropped its last two games to Memphis and Army, and its wins don’t exactly jump off the page. When you stack these teams up, Florida has the talent advantage across the board.

I expect the Gators to make a statement here and roll past Tulane. I’m laying the 10 points with confidence. Florida is on the rise, and this game is just another step forward for a program that’s figuring it out.
