The Eagles opened as a 2-point favorite over the 49ers, per DraftKings.
The 49ers advanced to the NFC Championship for a second straight season with a 19-12 win against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round. San Francisco and Philadelphia have met once in the playoffs, in the 1996 Wild Card Round, a 14-0 home win by the 49ers.
The Eagles completed a three-game sweep of the New York Giants with a 38-7 win Saturday in the NFC Divisional Round. Philadelphia is 15-1 when Jalen Hurts plays this season.
The quarterback did not play in NFL Week 16 or 17 because of a shoulder injury, and the Eagles lost twice with Gardner Minshew at quarterback, including 40-34 at Dallas on Dec. 24.
Hurts told FOX Sports before the game Saturday he is “nowhere near 100 percent.”
“I’m proud of this group, I’m proud of this team, and I’m proud of the preparation that we put into getting to where we are,” Hurts told the Eagles website. “There is a lot to be grateful for, but it was earned during the week. I’m excited to have another opportunity to play for something big again.”

The 49ers have won 12 in a row, and are 8-0 with rookie Brock Purdy at QB.
“Man, we’re just excited that we won,” Purdy told The Associated Press. “Everyone did their part. It’s playoff football, it’s never easy, but we’re moving on.”
When Purdy was at Iowa State, he almost upset Hurts and Oklahoma, throwing five TD passes and rushing for one in a 42-41 loss on Nov. 9, 2019.
San Francisco lost 20-17 at the Los Angeles Rams last season in the NFC Championship. The 49ers won the NFC Championship following the 2019 season, 37-20 against the Green Bay Packers, but have not won the Super Bowl since the 1994 season.
Philadelphia is 7-4 at home in playoffs since Lincoln Financial Field opened in 2003. That includes two wins on the way to its first Super Bowl championship, following the 2017 season.
“The roar is different (at home) …,” Philadelphia defensive end Brandon Graham told the Eagles website. “Just keep the energy coming. We feel that. We thrive off that. It’s definitely loud, for sure. You can tell we’re in playoff football, playoff mode.”
