The Baltimore Ravens already have their work cut out for them against the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals this weekend. That workload just got larger after it was announced they’ll likely be without quarterback Lamar Jackson for a sixth consecutive game. On Wednesday afternoon, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Lamar Jackson knee injury kept him out of practice once again, leaving his status in doubt for the AFC Wild Card playoff game this Sunday.
Backup Tyler Huntley has been dealing with a right shoulder/wrist injury of his own but was seen getting some light work in during the portion of Wednesday’s practice open to the media.

Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley Injury News Moves Ravens-Bengals Odds
Per DraftKings, the Ravens are currently an 8-point underdog Sunday after the line opened with them at +6.5. Earlier Wednesday morning, insider Ian Rapoport added to the doubt surrounding Jackson’s status but sounded confident Huntley could be ready in time.
“Not looking good for Lamar Jackson,” Rapoport said on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.” “Which is a bit of a surprise if you look back. Dec. 4 was the last time he played, battling a PCL sprain. There were so many people involved who thought if Lamar is not going to play in the regular season, he will surely be ready in the playoffs. However, from my understanding this is something sources have said over the course of the past 24 hours is that Lamar Jackson faces an uphill battle to be able to get out on the field in the playoffs against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“He is working, he is trying, he is rehabbing. The knee is just not quite right. Now, this has been shrouded in some secrecy, so there’s always a chance. Anything happens with Lamar Jackson, but I would be surprised based on what I know if he practices today, which means we can see Tyler ‘Snoop’ Huntley for the Baltimore Ravens.”

With Jackson and Huntley out with injuries, rookie Anthony Brown was forced into duty for the Week 18 game against the Bengals. He completed 19 of 44 passes for 286 yards and two interceptions in a 27-16 loss.
The Ravens offense has struggled mightily without Jackson, averaging 12.5 points per game in the past five, the second fewest in the NFL during that span.
