Bengals-Cowboys Anytime Touchdown Scorer Bet for Monday Night Football

Picks by Danny Burke

Let’s begin with our chalky touchdown bet of the night: Chase Brown (-155). Brown will have ample opportunity to score against a Dallas run defense that ranks dead last in EPA per play allowed, 31st in rushing yards allowed per game (148), and 29th in yards per carry (4.9). They’re also giving up a league-high 1.8 rushing touchdowns per game.

Brown has been a consistent red-zone weapon for the Bengals, logging six rushing touchdowns and two receiving scores this season.

While Cincinnati boasts plenty of offensive talent, it’s hard to see them not leaning on Brown in the red zone to exploit one of the NFL’s weakest run defenses.

I rarely look to wager on a player with odds this chalky, but he’s going to be our safer play for this game.

Our next pick focuses on a glaring weakness in the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense. While there are plenty to choose from, their struggles against tight ends stand out.

The Bengals are allowing opposing tight ends to average six receptions and over 65 receiving yards per game. They’re also surrendering 0.7 receiving touchdowns to tight ends per game – the second most in the NFL.

Jake Ferguson hasn’t seen a red-zone target since Cooper Rush took over at quarterback, but he’s been productive between the 20s with 12 receptions on 16 targets for 106 yards.

This matchup offers a prime opportunity for Ferguson to finally get involved near the end zone, and the value on him makes it an appealing play.

Our final touchdown pick of the night highlights a player thriving under Cooper Rush: Jalen Tolbert.

Since Rush took over, Tolbert has been targeted 24 times, hauling in 12 receptions for 117 yards. Most notably, he’s tied with CeeDee Lamb for the most red-zone targets during that span and leads the receiving corps with two touchdowns.

Despite this clear connection, sportsbooks are pricing Tolbert like an afterthought. While there may be flashier names to bet on, the numbers speak for themselves — Rush has consistently looked Tolbert’s way near the end zone. That trend should continue against a Bengals defense that ranks 27th in dropback EPA. At this price, Tolbert offers tremendous value as a touchdown play.
