Saturdays’s picks went 3 for 3, which means we’ve got to get some more NFL action on PrizePicks. Selecting the right projections may be challenging, but with the assistance of OddsShopper’s NFL PrizePicks Optimizer and thorough research, we’ve got you covered. Let’s dive into the best PrizePicks NFL picks and player projections for December 17, starting with Bijan Robinson.
Sunday presents a 10-game slate, kicking off with a 33.5 total for Falcons-Panthers. Six of the 10 games have a total in the 30s, while we have a 50.5 total for Commanders-Rams in Los Angeles. However, the game of the week boasts a 49.5-point total in Buffalo between the Cowboys and Bills. With just a 1-point spread for two of the top-five offenses in the NFL, we should witness an exciting football game.
If you’re looking to tease these picks up or down to make them more attainable or increase your payout, PrizePicks has introduced Demons and Goblins to create more options for your entry. You can read about the extra fun here.
PrizePicks NFL Player Predictions: Picks for Bijan Robinson & More
Bijan Robinson M/L 14.0 Fantasy Score
Bijan Robinson ranks ninth in the NFL and leads all rookie running backs with 790 rushing yards through 13 games. He also ranks fourth for running backs with 50 targets. Robinson is a dual-threat back who could be in the running for rookie of the year; he just needs a few more touchdowns to catch up to Jahmyr Gibbs. The timing couldn’t be better to play the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers allow 27.5 fantasy points per game to the running back position and have allowed a league-high 18 rushing touchdowns. Robinson is averaging 15.15 fantasy points per game and had 20.2 back in Week 1 when the Falcons beat the Panthers 24-10. Although Tyler Allgeier is involved in the running game and Cordarrelle Patterson has logged some snaps in the past few weeks, Robinson logged 106 snaps in the past two weeks and is no question, the go-to guy.

Puka Nacua M/L 49.5 Receiving Yards (Goblin)
Puka Nacua, a 5th-round draft pick back in June, surprised everyone when he filled the void of Cooper Kupp, recording 25 receptions in his first two games. He’s experienced some regression since Week 2 but is having a remarkable rookie campaign. Since Kupp’s return, Nakua’s volume has decreased, but he still ranks fifth in the NFL with 1,113 receiving yards.
Nacua gets a favorable matchup against the Commanders, who allow the most receiving yards in the NFL to wide receivers. They also have allowed 20 receiving touchdowns, which ranks 31st. The Rams have the second-highest implied team total of 28.25 points. PrizePicks has Nacua’s projection at 67.5, but when I looked at OddsShopper’s Positive EV Bets tool, some of the sharper books have this at 69.5. So, not only are we getting good value, but we can also get an extra discount by using a goblin and increasing our chances of a win!
Best PrizePicks NFL Player Prediction: Puka Nacua More Than 49.5 Receiving Yards (Goblin)
Christian McCaffrey M/L 88.5 Rushing Yards
This is one of those picks I feel you can just point and click. Christian McCaffrey, the best running back in the NFL, against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals’ defense has struggled against running backs this season, allowing the most rushing attempts, the third-most yards, and the fourth-most touchdowns. In their previous matchup back in October, McCaffrey had 106 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.
Winners of five straight and the first team in the NFC to clinch a playoff spot, the 49ers have the highest implied team total on Sunday of 30 points. They are 12-point road favorites, and although Arizona’s defense is bad, Kyler Murray can still move the ball and could keep this game somewhat competitive. McCaffrey is averaging 90.5 rushing yards per game, and in a favorable matchup and game script, he should get enough volume to surpass this projection. If you want to take a chance on the demon pick of 99.5 yards, I won’t tell you not to.
