Another weekend with Saturday NFL means another chance to win some money on PrizePicks. Selecting the right projections may be challenging, but with the assistance of OddsShopper’s NFL PrizePicks Optimizer and thorough research, we have you covered. Let’s dive into the best PrizePicks NFL picks and player projections for Saturday, starting with Josh Allen.

We have a two-game slate on Saturday, starting with an AFC North division battle between the Bengals and Steelers in Pittsburgh. Both teams are still in the playoff hunt, and both teams will play another game with a backup quarterback. The Bengals are favored by 2.5 points, while this game has a 38.5 total. Bills-Chargers kicks off at 8:00 PM ET for the night cap in Los Angeles. The Bills have won two in a row and will need to make it three to keep their playoff hopes alive in a crowded AFC wildcard race. They are favored by 12.5 points, while this game has a 43.5 total.

If you’re looking to tease these picks up or down to make them more attainable or increase your payout, PrizePicks has introduced Demons and Goblins to create more options for your entry. You can read about the extra fun here.

Josh Allen M/L 244.5 Pass Yards

Josh Allen is averaging 252.4 pass yards in 14 games this season. He gets a favorable matchup against the Chargers, who allow the second-most passing yards in the NFL. He’s gone over 244.5 in eight of 14 games and is averaging 258.5 yards on the road. The Chargers rank 19th in pass rush and 21st in pass coverage.

As you can see here, most other books have this between 245.5 and 247.5, but all juiced to the under. The Chargers have lost two games in a row and have pretty much given up any playoff hopes with Justin Herbert done for the season. Allen gets it done through the air.

Best PrizePicks NFL Player Prediction: Josh Allen More Than 244.5 Pass Yards

If you’re looking for some other pick’em action this weekend, Sleeper Fantasy has a pick on sale for Patrick Mahomes. All he needs is to record 1 passing yard and this pick is a winner! James Cook M/L 24.5 Receiving Yards

Stacking is always a good idea when you’re creating a flex play for NFL picks, and that’s exactly what we are doing here. James Cook is averaging 10.8 yards and 2.9 receptions per game. He gets a favorable matchup against the Chargers, who allow the second most receptions and yards to the running back position.

The Bills have an implied team total of 27.25 points, the second-highest in Week 16. OddsShopper’s Positive EV Bets tool shows some books have this slightly higher at 26.5. Since the Bills’ new offensive coordinator took over, Cook has been much more involved, leading all running backs with 210 receiving yards in the last five games and averaging four receptions over that span.

Best PrizePicks NFL Player Prediction: James Cook More Than 24.5 Receiving Yards

Pat Freiermuth M/L 26.5 Receiving Yards

The Steelers will host the Bengals as 2.5 point underdogs in Pittsburgh. Pat Freiermuth missed Weeks 5-10 and is averaging 4.5 targets per game. The Steelers announced that Mason Rudolf will start at quarterback, and in two career games with Mason at quarterback, he has 8 receptions on 13 targets. Freiermuth gets a favorable matchup against the Bengals, who rank 27th in pass defense.

More specifically, the Bengals allow the most receiving yards and the second most receptions to tight ends. When these teams met back in November, Freiemuth had nine receptions on 11 targets for 120 yards with Kenny Pickett at quarterback.
