The Buffalo Bills will visit the Jacksonville Jaguars across the pond this weekend. They’re a 5.5-point favorite despite the extra travel, which the Jaguars won’t have to deal with — they got to spend the week in England. Let’s dive right into the best Bills-Jaguars player prop picks and anytime touchdown scorer bets for Week 5’s game from London, including a pick for Trevor Lawrence.

Bills-Jaguars Player Prop
The Buffalo Bills have one of the NFL’s defenses. The unit ranks third in expected points added (EPA) per dropback. Although they’re only 13th in yards allowed per pass attempt (6.2), they have coughed up the fourth-fewest total passing yards to quarterbacks on the year (777), good for only 193.5 per game. Buffalo held three quarterbacks to under 200 yards. Tua Tagovailoa went for 282 last week, but with how Miami’s offense has looked this year, that number isn’t especially high.

Things will only get better for Buffalo in Week 5. Star edge rusher Von Miller expects to play, and safety Jordan Poyer, who missed Week 4, is ready to return. The Bills will have to adjust to life without star cornerback Tre’Davious White, but they played without him for most of last season and didn’t miss much of a beat. It is concerning that cornerback Christian Benford is questionable, but I trust the duo of Poyer and Micah Hyde to limit the damage if he has to sit.
The books have set Trevor Lawrence’s passing prop at a whopping 247.5 yards, which, again, the Bills have only allowed one quarterback to surpass. Lawrence himself has beaten it just once this year as well. Crucial to Buffalo’s ability to limit opposing quarterbacks has been their ability to keep them off the field: Buffalo ranks 30th in second per play (31.5) and first in plays allowed to their opponents (50.3). Fade Lawrence at this number.

Bills-Jaguars Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Everyone is acting like tight end Dawson Knox doesn’t exist anymore because the Bills drafted another option at the position, Dalton Kincaid. But through four weeks, Knox is Buffalo’s second-leading target-getter inside the red zone with five, one of which went for a touchdown. He trails only Stefon Diggs in red-zone target share. Meanwhile, Kincaid has earned just two red-zone targets, neither of which went for a score.
Knox earned nine red-zone targets from quarterback Josh Allen last year, and he found paydirt on five of them. He now takes on a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has coughed up two touchdowns and 271 receiving yards to tight ends. Only two teams that have played only four games have surrendered more yards to the position. The Bills are a 5.5-point favorite for this one, and I agree that they should be favored — but Knox should have shorter odds to find paydirt. He does at Pinnacle, a sharp book, where this line sits at only +307.
