Broncos-Bills First Touchdown Picks: Courtland Sutton Shines on Monday Night Football (Nov. 13)

Monday Night Football isn’t the most exciting matchup, but there’s reason to watch especially when considering Broncos-Bills first touchdown picks.

Time is running out for the Buffalo Bills. Be it remaining games or excuses, there aren’t many left to lean on as the Bills are on life support. That’s a familiar spot for the Denver Broncos who have found a consistent way to keep a pulse; pounding the football on the ground.

Less is more for Russell Wilson in Sean Payton’s offense. The Bills need Josh Allen to move the ball with his legs just to establish any sense of a ground game.

Both offenses have a couple easy spots to take the first touchdown, so here are the top two plays for Monday Night Football!

Broncos-Bills First Touchdown Bet | Monday Night Football Nov. 13

Denver Broncos Touchdown Scorer

The Broncos come in winners of two straight despite Wilson not seeing 200 yards in four straight games. That’s a lot of running the football. Javonte Williams climbed over 80 yards in two straight games, as Denver shifts the focus to the ground game more than anything. Primetime in Buffalo may bring out a little excitement for both Wilson and Payton, especially when they see how many starters are out in Buffalo’s secondary. The entire world expects the Broncos to sit back and hand off for 30-plus times, and even if they do once again rely on it, the ground game might take a back seat to start.

According to OddsShopper, Williams is the only player less than 10-1 to score first for Denver. Both Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy sit at 12-1. Normally there is a single suggestion and a .25u played, but this is a perfectly fine night to split this down the middle. Both Sutton and Jeudy stand a solid chance of breaking something on this Bills defense, so long as Payton gives Wilson the chance. The Broncos will try and get points as fast as possible by throwing the ball down field in balance with Williams on the ground. To choose one would be Sutton, knowing the target share could be increased and his odds are the same as Jeudy.

Buffalo Bills First Touchdown Scorer

Stephon Diggs enters tonight with seven touchdowns despite his QB dealing with injury and implosion. Not bad considering the major chaos. Diggs is also major chalk at 5-1, just below James Cook at +450. Dropping past Allen are two other important targets, from tight end to wide receiver.

Dalton Kincaid sits at +800 which is just shy of Gabe Davis at +850. The rookie tight end is a target magnet the past three weeks with Davis fading last week against the Bengals. There’s just too much consistent action between Allen and Kincaid to ignore the small price break on Davis. There’s a strong effort in the red zone to get Kincaid the ball and depending on where they are, taking some chances deep middle. The Bills have seen pass protection break down recently, which may flush him out of the pocket, forcing another look towards Kincaid if nothing’s immediately open on the outside.

There’s always the threat of run with Allen involved, but some decent mid-range odds lie with Kincaid claiming the first score from Allen, not blocking ahead of him.
