Broncos-Lions Player Prop Pick

Amon-Ra St. Brown Prop O/U 6.5 Receptions

For Saturday’s nightcap game, we’re targeting wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown — a receiver who deserves his praise. If you’re looking for another play on an underrated receiver on Saturday, check out our Michael Pittman Jr. play for the earlier Steelers-Colts game.

Let’s dive into why we’re backing Brown against a Denver Broncos defense that has shown much improvement from earlier this season.

Brown has been held in check as of late, with just five catches in his last two games. The last time we saw Brown ball out was on Thanksgiving when he reeled in nine catches for 95 yards. However, Brown’s last two games came on the road, where quarterback Jared Goff is much worse.

Goff’s completion percentage at home rises to 69.8%, while it dips to below 65% on the road. For a guy used to playing indoors, this means something — especially for his top target, who has eclipsed this line in three of five home games this season and 10 of his last 15 dating back to last season.

Now, let’s dive into the +EV side of things. FanDuel is offering the over of 6.5 receptions and near-even money, while DraftKings has plenty of vig on the over.

Pinnacle, a sharp book, has the over priced at -138. The Broncos’ slot defense (and their overall defense, too) has improved a bunch, but I like Goff and Brown at home tonight, where their connection has been on point.

Broncos-Lions Anytime Touchdown Scorer Pick

If you can access bet365, I have the best touchdown play in Broncos-Lions for you. Rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs is listed at +100, while he’s down to -115 on the rest of the major books.

For a guy who has scored in five of his last seven games and three of his last five with David Montgomery in the backfield room, that’s great value.

Denver’s defense has been sharp in the red zone lately, with a 50% touchdown rate allowed in the last three games, but this Lions offense is potent at home — they average over four touchdowns a game in Detroit while down to 24 points on the road.

We dove into Goff’s numbers at home in our top player prop bet play, but Goff will be the catalyst of leading this Lions team down the field.

Gibbs has shown his playmaking ability in the passing game by being targeted over five times per game in his last 10. Gibbs may not be known to be a red zone back, but his seven touches in the red zone the last two weeks rank in the top 20 amongst backs. The explosive back is our top touchdown play in Broncos-Lions.
