Broncos-Lions Same-Game Parlay Picks

The nightcap on Saturday features two teams looking to cement a pathway to the playoffs. That’s rather incredible for a Denver Broncos team that once gave up 70 points in a game just earlier this season. Things have certainly turned around for Denver but not necessarily Detroit. After a solid three game win streak the Lions have dropped two of their last three, and face a revamped and revived opponent. The saving grace may simply be playing at home, but that didn’t work out well for the Lions on Thanksgiving. Here is the best Broncos-Lions Same-Game Parlay picks!

Broncos-Lions Same-Game Parlay Picks Saturday

Amon-Ra St. Brown O/U 6.5 Receptions (NFL Player Prop)

The Lions are going to need to put up some points to distance themselves from this Broncos defense, but also forcing Denver in an uncomfortable position to pass. It’s not the best game plan by Denver to ask Russell Wilson to throw for 300 yards and 3 scores in keeping up with Jared Goff and the Lions offense.

Stretching the field and softening up the secondary sounds nice but the reality is Detroit needs to get the ball in their playmaker’s hands ASAP and often. Amon-Ra St. Brown should see double-digit targets netting at least seven receptions. OddsShopper found this on FanDuel at -104, beating every other book and the market value of -112. The Bears did a great job slowing him down last week but St. Brown still saw eight targets. He should see even more Saturday night, go over the 6.5 grabs.

Sam LaPorta Anytime TD (NFL Player Prop)

Speaking of putting up points, the Lions have seen their young star TE Sam LaPorta hit the end zone in two of the last three games. The Bears game saw a bunch of offensive struggles where Detroit can break out at least one of their stars against Denver.

While St. Brown should still see a healthy amount of targets, LaPorta is averaging north of seven targets over the past three games. Goff and the Lions coaching staff have two options in getting ahead quickly and they both come in the passing game.

LaPorta is capable of scoring on multiple levels and Detroit will certainly try and stretch some deep middle with their tight end, not to mention a heavy target in the red zone. We head into this game with a basic belief the Lions offense has some positive regression, which would come in the form of LaPorta scoring at least once.

Courtland Sutton Anytime TD (NFL Player Prop)

While the number has dipped over the past few weeks, it’s still rather fascinating this currently sits at +135 as a solo play. Sutton has played in 13 games this year and scored in 10. He is the one guy Russell Wilson will force the ball into any small area, including in the end zone.

Any big play has Sutton’s hands on it, combined with his ability to find space in tighter spots like the red zone. This should be the easiest leg to cash and the value itself is too good to pass. The Lions secondary isn’t in any type of shutdown mode, so expect Wilson to test them by throwing a bunch to Sutton.

The sheer volume of scoring alone is worth a shot on Sutton but he’s also spreading it across the season with no big bunch game of three TDs. Targets aren’t an issue either; he’s scored off three targets all the way to eleven. He will again Saturday night.
