Colts-Eagles Weather Report Forecast
Looking at the Weather Channel for Thursday, there’s a chance of rain showers in the evening in Philadelphia. Mild temperatures in the 70s are expected and winds should be in the 10-to-15 MPH range. Be sure to stay up-to-date with the weather as we get closer to kickoff.
Fresh off an 18-18 tie against the Cleveland Browns last week, the Eagles will try to pick up their first win of the preseason at home. They lost their opening preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, with star quarterback Jalen Hurts and many other of Philadelphia’s best players not seeing the field in either matchup.
The Colts are 1-1 through their first two preseason games, bouncing back after a 23-19 loss in Buffalo to beat Chicago 24-17 at home last week.
Anthony Richardson, already named the Week 1 starter after being drafted fourth overall, showed some encouraging signs in his first taste of NFL action against the Bills but didn’t see the field in the victory over the Bears. Richardson has already been announced as the starter for Thursday evening, so it’s reasonable to expect the rest of the Colts’ key players will see at least a handful of snaps as well.
As of Tuesday afternoon, FanDuel showed the Colts favored by 4.5 points and the game total at 38.5 points. Considering Philadelphia would be a firm favorite if these two teams were to meet in the regular season, it’s fair to assume oddsmakers expect the Eagles to be exercising caution with playing time leading into Week 1.
