Colts-Patriots Same-Game Parlay Bet: How Does This +632 Parlay Miss?!? (Nov 12)

Let’s be honest, this is basically a moldy banana peel of a game. Who wants to watch the Colts-Patriots game in Germany? I can think of only one reason why I’m watching this game, and it’s because I’m sweating this banger of a 5-leg +632 Colts-Patriots same-game parlay at FanDuel. There’s a real chance we’re all going to need to bleach our eyes after this one, but let’s make some coin in the process.

Jonathan Taylor OVER 2.5 Receptions (Player Prop)

Since Jonathan Taylor returned in Week 5, he has averaged three catches on 3.6 targets per game. He has five or more catches in two games this season and has cleared the 2.5 three times in his five games.

The Patriots actually give up the seventh-most receptions to running backs on a per-game basis at 5.6. This should bode well for Taylor, who has received 11 targets in his last three games combined. The Colts like to play fast, and that could give us some extra snaps to get Taylor over the 2.5.

Jonathan Taylor 50+ Rushing Yards (Player Prop)

Let’s stick with the Colts’ running back and get in on this 50-plus rushing yard prop.

A week ago, Taylor finally got the lion’s share of the running back snaps with 74%, putting Zack Moss (21%) back in the dust where he belongs. Taylor got a season-high 18 carries in that game as well, which you love to see.

The Patriots only give up about 82 rushing yards per game, but Taylor is a different beast back there. If the Colts give this dude another 15-18 carries, all we need is for him to average a little over three yards per carry to cash this for us.

The cherry on top? OddsShopper’s NFL model has Taylor getting over his traditional rushing prop of 68.5 yards about 53% of the time.

Rhamondre Stevenson 3+ Receptions (Player Prop)

Apparently, I only like running backs in this Colts-Patriots game, because we’re adding a Rhamondre Stevenson prop (or two) to our parlay today.

The scumbag quarterback that is Mac Jones can’t really chuck the ball downfield with any sort of accuracy, so he has been leaning on Stevenson quite a bit in the passing game. How often you ask? Approximately 22 times in the last four games — and that includes three games with six targets.

The Colts allow right around five receptions per game to opposing running backs, and if we think Jones will be looking to dump it off, we’re going to have to take this Stevenson receptions prop.

Rhamondre Stevenson 40+ Rushing Yards (Player Prop)

FanDuel has Stevenson’s traditional rushing yards prop set at 46.5 yards, but since we’re firing up the Colts-Patriots same-game parlay, we’re getting the alternate number of 40-plus here.

Projections have him going over the 46.5 about 51% of the time, but this is where I think we can use our intuition a bit more. It’s always best to let data be your guide in betting, but sometimes you have to listen to your gut a little.

Mine is telling me the Colts allow over 90 yards on the ground to opposing backs, and if the game goes according to the projected game script, the Pats could be leading, and looking to milk some clock. All of that leads to a few more carries for our guy, and I think we get over 40. After all, he did just break a 64-yarder for a tuddy last week. Hey, it could happen.

Demario Douglas 3+ Receptions (Player Prop)

What do you get when every last receiver on your team goes down with an injury? Demario Douglas. That’s what.

This fella has been catching balls despite his trash quarterback. In the last three weeks, Douglas has 14 catches and has been the most-targeted Patriot the last two weeks. He has also seen the most snaps of any wide receiver on the team in that timeframe as well. Douglas is going to be out there a lot, and, at this point, who else is Mac Jones going to throw it to? Jalen Reagor? I mean, c’mon. You do the math.
