Cowboys-49ers Opening NFC Divisional Round Odds Revealed

Per Caesars Sportsbook, the Cowboys open as a 4.5-point underdog against the 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round. The over/under is set at 45.

The 49ers will be coming in as a confident group after their dominant 41-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy continued his rise to stardom, completing 18 of 30 passes for 332 yards with three touchdown passes while adding another score on the ground.

Kyle Shanahan said after the game that his faith in the rookie third-stringer continues to grow every week.

“I felt that way from the beginning,” Shanahan said, per PFT. “Once he got in that game versus Miami he didn’t have the luxury to sit there and worry about stuff the way the game was going. We just had to call plays to try to win the game, and he did such a hell of a job. He’s done it every time since. We’ve got a lot of confidence in him and he gives us more and more confidence each week.”

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was also able to silence his doubters in the Super Wild Card Round, completing 25 of 33 passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns in the 31-14 win over the Buccaneers. It was the first time in his last seven games that he did not throw an interception.

Prescott will have his work cut out for him to pull off the upset against a 49ers defense that ranks No. 1 in the NFL in yards allowed per game (300.6).
