The biggest thing about Sunday’s games is weather won’t be a dominating force. The indoor affair in Detroit sees the Buccaneers trying to continue an improbable run against a team making its own history. The later action is in Buffalo where Patrick Mahomes is a dog this deep in the playoffs for the first time in his career, against Josh Allen working on his own legacy. Two games, four teams and plenty of value for a first score. Here are the best Divisional round first touchdown props for Sunday’s NFL slate.

Divisional Round First Touchdown Picks for Sunday
Detroit Lions First Touchdown Pick
The Buccaneers blew out a disinterested Eagles team, holding its pathetic offense to barely a blip on the radar. That’s about as much of a 180 as possible before heading into a track meet in Detroit. The Lions may defer, they may just take the ball and run with it. Either way, their defense is improved enough down the stretch to limit the Bucs’ first possession if, in fact, Detroit does lose the toss or defer. The Lions’ best weapon this week has been consistent for the past month: Amon-Ra St. Brown.
The Buccaneers pass defense is horrible; it just lucked out in facing a bottomed-out Eagles offense. Detroit will look to establish its running backs, but the big play and score comes from St. Brown. He’s hit 90-plus yards in five straight games and should explode against a Bucs team with no legit defensive back threat. Less pressure on Jared Goff should allow for more time for St. Brown to get down the field. Be it a big play or methodically peppering him, St. Brown will score first.

Kansas City Chiefs First Touchdown Pick
The Chiefs have had their issues with the receiver position all year. The mistakes have been costly, even driving Mahomes to lash out in press conferences after losses. Travis Kelce just hasn’t been his dominating self this year, but hope is not lost with Kansas City — just ask Rashee Rice. The rookie wideout had at least 90 yards in three of his last four games, clearly establishing needed trust with Mahomes. He’s also been worked into the offense by Andy Reid as a top receiver, something only limited now by his age — not his talents.
Rice should be all over the field as Kansas City has still managed to utilize the presence of Kelce to create spacing for other receivers. Expect the Chiefs to establish two people right away in this game, both to help their quarterback. Isiah Pacheco should see the lion’s share of work in the backfield, helping to balance the pass game. Rice is the main target and will take over the lead role against Buffalo. That all starts with the first score of the game.
