Dolphins-Chiefs First Touchdown Bets for Germany (Nov. 5)

The Kansas City Chiefs will look to shake off a bad loss against the Denver Broncos by beating up the Miami Dolphins. This game has a unique variable to it in that it isn’t being played in Kansas City — instead, both team will take the field in Germany. Both teams will face similar travel pressures on Sunday. Both teams also have some chalk up top to be the first touchdown scorers, so we’ll lean on OddsShopper’s tools to help us find the highest-value bets. Here are the best first touchdown bets for Sunday’s Dolphins-Chiefs game in Germany.

Miami Dolphins First Touchdown Scorer

The “road” team in this battle arrived nearly four full days before their opponent and should look a little better acclimated — at least for the first quarter. Assuming that this game doesn’t go an entire half with just field goals, the Dolphins’ quick-strike offense should play well here against a Chiefs team that just arrived on Thursday. The best time to take advantage of any travel edge is right at the start of the game. Expect a healthy dose of Tyreek Hill, but he isn’t as chalky as one may think. Both lead backs are ahead of Hill to score first, followed by Travis Kelce.

The next guy is Hill at +750, which is just fine to bet on one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. The Dolphins should force the Kansas City defense to figure out how to defend Hill before anything else. There is always a chance that Raheem Mostert vultures a play on the goal line, but Hill can score from anywhere on the field at any given time. The current odds don’t reflect that at all. The Chiefs are also looking to throw the ball, and much like Miami, Kansas City has a workhorse in Travis Kelce. Patrick Mahomes hasn’t established any better red-zone connection with any receiver other than Kelce. Andy Reid and this offense are going to work the ground game, but they’ll also pass plenty, too, meaning someone like Jerick McKinnon stands to get an increased role — at least with touches.

The number is well worth the shot here for a back who can take a quick swing or screen and run with it. He can even get a look out of the backfield deep in Miami territory, too. McKinnon can work between the tackles near the goal line or bust one out to the outside. He is a great choice at odds of 16-1 to score first on BetMGM, especially in a game where the Chiefs may not come out super aggressive
