That’s what we’ve seen the Eagles do all season — they rank second in average time of possession (34:02) and third in rushing-play percentage (46.9%). This strategy is all the more important because it’s likely the best chance the Eagles have of keeping the Dolphins off the scoreboard, and it’ll require plenty of touches for running back D’Andre Swift. Swift is coming off a 10-carry, 18-yard performance against the Jets. He added 40 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions.
The total for Swift’s rushing yardage prop sits at a relatively low 62.5. Swift has gone over that number in half of his games this season and is averaging 75.3 yards per game. That number is skewed by an outlier 28-carry, 175-yard showing against the Vikings and a one-carry, three-yard showing against the Patriots, but his median is right on the number at 63. With the over trading at -114 on Pinnacle, a sharp book, but -110 at DraftKings, I’m locking this one in for Sunday Night Football. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia secondary has coughed up the seventh-most receiving yards to wideouts (1,043) and the second-most receiving touchdowns (8).
