DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for Bengals-Ravens (Nov. 7)

Two of the NFL’s better scoring offenses are on display Thursday night in Baltimore. While the Ravens are putting up points, running and throwing at a ridiculous clip, the Bengals are doing their part, at least in the air. The seventh-ranked Bengals passing offense goes head-to-head with the worst passing defense in the entire league — not to mention star power like Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow. Let’s plan accordingly; here are your top two DraftKings Pick6 predictions for Thursday!

Mark Andrews M/L Than 43.5 Receiving Yards

There are two players who saw their receiving yards steam a little on the books, and Mark Andrews is not either of them. Instead, we get a good look at a stagnant projection on Pick6, and a solid matchup against the Bengals.

He slowed down a little bit the past two games, but some of that requires context. Andrews still netted five targets in a loss to Cleveland despite only pulling in 36 receiving yards. He was a functional part of the offense, including scoring a touchdown. It was a rare 7 yards per reception for Andrews in this offense.

The Bengals don’t give up a huge amount in the air — 14th-ranked pass defense — but they don’t truly stop it either. Henry should see plenty of carries, but Zay Flowers — one of the steamed receivers — is going to get looks to stretch the field. Ultimately, the Bengals defense will be stretched thin and give up a few easy grabs to Andrews. That should be enough for him to hit more than 43.5.

This is a short week against a division opponent with nothing settled in the AFC North. While both offenses have cooked this year, expect a more methodical approach, at least in the first half. That should benefit Andrews right away.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Mark Andrews More Than 43.5 Receiving Yards

Evan McPherson M/L 6.5 Kicking Points

This is a short week with two offenses expected to go crazy. Add in the poorly ranked Ravens pass defense, and it seems like the 52.5-point total might be too low. This game could go over or stay under by 21 points and I’d still love this play with Evan McPherson. The Bengals are going to see drives stall, even with a favorable matchup in the air game. Teams just don’t reel back and exploit a weakness the entire game, and at some point a bad play call between the 30s is going to kill a drive.

McPherson has a boot. He’s able to salvage any drives that stop based on penalty, sack, defense or anything else. We know things get tighter on a short week and players might hold or jump a little more, especially on the road. Cincinnati can’t afford to leave any points on the field going against this high-powered Ravens squad, so while trading 3 for 7 isn’t ideal, it’s the only way it ca stay in this game.
