Jahmyr Gibbs M/L Than 16.5 Receiving Yards
One matchup where we’ll really see a team with advantages is in Detroit, where the Lions are hosting the Jaguars. The Lions are 14-point favorites against a Jaguars defense that ranks dead last in defensive EPA per play.
One player who can thrive in this spot is running back Jahmyr Gibbs – and we’re getting a bargain on his receiving yards prop, which is set at just 16.5. Through 9 games this season, Gibbs is averaging 2.4 receptions for 22.4 yards per game and has surpassed this mark in 6 of those 9 contests.
The Jaguars are allowing opposing tailbacks to average six receptions for 46.3 yards per game. Look for Gibbs to exploit this weak Jaguars defense and hit the over on his receiving yards prop.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Jahmyr Gibbs More Than 16.5 Receiving Yards
Nick Chubb M/L Than 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs
The Cleveland Browns are in a prime position to expose one of the league’s weakest defenses – especially on the ground.
PFF grades the New Orleans Saints dead last in run defense. They also rank 31st in rush EPA, 30th in rush success rate, and allow 5.1 yards per carry (31st), along with 1.4 rushing touchdowns per game.
Much of the narrative surrounding this matchup focuses on the Jameis Winston revenge angle. While that storyline may hold some weight, I believe the Browns’ primary focus will be on exploiting the Saints’ defensive weaknesses on the ground.
This will present a great opportunity for veteran tailback Nick Chubb. After suffering a major injury last year, it’s been a gradual return to form for Chubb. But with three games under his belt and a bye week to rest, expect flashes of his old self against one of the league’s worst run defenses.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Nick Chubb More Than 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs
