Tony Pollard M/L Than 63.5 Rushing Yards
Here I am again taking a chance with the Tennessee Titans starting running back. He delivered for us last week with a solid 21-carry, 102-yard performance against the Jaguars, and I’m hoping he can do it again against the Bengals.
The big difference this week is the matchup. The Titans were favorites against Jacksonville, but they’re currently 5.5-point underdogs against Cincinnati. If they fall behind early, there’s a risk they’ll abandon the run. However, their defense should keep the game close enough to maintain a ground-heavy approach with Pollard.
Pollard is in a great spot to exploit a Bengals run defense that’s allowing 4.5 yards per carry and ranks 31st in rush success rate allowed. Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have Pollard rushing 16.5 times for 74 yards. Initially, Chuba Hubbard was my top pick at running back, but with his line moving so aggressively, Pollard now offers the best value in the backfield. Let’s hope he delivers again.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Tony Pollard More Than 63.5 Rushing Yards
Jameis Winston M/L Than 229.5 Passing Yards
There’s no thrill quite like sweating out a wager involving Jameis Winston, and that’s exactly what I’m planning to do today as he faces the Kansas City Chiefs.
Winston and the Browns enter this matchup as home underdogs, but the Chiefs have struggled against the spread this season. This has the makings of a back-and-forth game, with both quarterbacks having opportunities to showcase their skills.
While the Chiefs’ defense is solid overall, their secondary has some vulnerabilities. They rank 21st in dropback EPA and 20th in dropback success rate, which could open the door for Winston to exploit.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections list Winston at 240 passing yards, well above the current prop line being offered.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Jameis Winston More Than 229.5 Passing Yards
