Bijan Robinson M/L Than 88.5 Rushing Yards
The Falcons are making a significant change by starting rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. over veteran Kirk Cousins. Facing the New York Giants presents an ideal opportunity for this transition. The Falcons are 9-point favorites and shouldn’t feel much pressure against the struggling G-Men.
Penix should have the chance to settle in early, help build a lead, and then rely on Bijan Robinson and the backfield to manage the game. Alternatively, the Falcons may focus on the ground game from the start to ease Penix into action. Either way, expect a heavy dose of the run game. The Giants are allowing 4.9 yards per carry to opposing running backs, ranking 31st in the league, and sit 25th in defensive rush success rate.
This matchup is primed for Robinson to shine, and the projections agree. Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have Robinson rushing 21 times for 100 yards. Let’s back Robinson and look for him to have a massive performance against a brutal run defense.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Bijan Robinson More Than 88.5 Rushing Yards
Brian Robinson Jr. M/L Than 55.5 Rushing Yards
Brian Robinson Jr. enters this matchup averaging 14.5 carries for 64 yards per game, with an impressive 4.4 yards per rush.
He’ll face a tough test against one of the NFL’s top defenses, the Philadelphia Eagles. While the Eagles have excelled defensively, their ground game efforts have shown some vulnerability. They’ve allowed 4.2 yards per carry and rank 12th against the run according to PFF.
These numbers aren’t necessarily weak, but compared to their dominance against the pass, the ground game is the more exploitable area. It would also make sense for the Commanders to lean on their rushing attack to control the clock and limit Philadelphia’s offensive opportunities. Robinson is well-equipped to lead that effort.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have Robinson rushing for 71 yards on 15 attempts. Four of the last five running backs to face the Eagles have comfortably surpassed this mark – let’s hope Robinson can follow suit.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Brian Robinson Jr. More Than 55.5 Rushing Yards
