DraftKings Pick6 Predictions for NFL Week 4 TNF: Cowboys-Giants

The Cowboys are down but not nearly as in the dumps as the Giants. The NFC East matchup kicking off Week 4 in the NFL is clouded with desperation as both teams try to salvage something of a season. It’s a little more so for the Cowboys, as they entered with Super Bowl aspirations. For the Giants, maybe it’s saving jobs — or simply saving face. As we’ve profited many times before, desperation brings value, and this game is full of it. Here are your top two DraftKings Pick6 NFL predictions for Thursday Night Football!

Devin Singletary M/L Than 0.5 Rushing & Receiving Touchdown

The Giants don’t have many options in their backfield, and this is actually a good matchup against the Cowboys run defense. It should open some opportunities for Devin Singletary all over the field as a red zone option and safety release for Daniel Jones. The Giants back should look more all-purpose against this Dallas defense, which hasn’t slowed down anyone on the ground.

We get a great chance here with the dual category combined in both rushing and receiving, especially since Singletary is a threat to score either way.

The big play is live here too, as Dallas can’t help but surrender big plays on the ground. Whether it comes via volume or an explosive play, Singletary is in prime shape to carry the workload on the ground for New York. Even if the Jones vulture touchdown comes into play, we know Singletary remains a threat in the passing game.

Dallas gives up an incredible number of rushing touchdowns too, so Singletary should find some nice daylight closer to the goal line. This is a solid spot for him to score at least once, and we get it two ways on the card.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Devin Singletary More Than 0.5 Rushing & Receiving Touchdown

Rico Dowdle M/L Than 38.5 Rushing Yards

You always go with the hot hand. In this case, there aren’t many other hands to even look at past Rico Dowdle in the Cowboys backfield. Sure, Ezekiel Elliott will get a few touches, but the talent favors Dowdle. The Cowboys can’t afford to mess around, play cute or take anything for granted. They need to establish the run alongside CeeDee Lamb. The best way to balance that is by Dowdle and his big-play capability. He’s one big run away from getting halfway to his projection.

The Giants are allowing 5-plus yards per carry and have no choice but to respect the large amount of space Lamb covers. This should open plenty of softer spots for Dowdle and the Cowboys offensive line to attack, pushing the ball into the second level of the Giants defense. Ten carries on 4 yards per carry gets him there; add the weak areas on defense, and Dowdle should clear it with ease. There are a few game scripts that play out with Dowdle getting even more than 10 to 12 carries, especially if Dallas is running out fourth quarter clock with a one-score lead.
