Jordan Love M/L Than 31.5 Passing Attempts
The Green Bay Packers enter this playoff matchup as 5-point underdogs. They’re not only missing one of their top receiving threats in Christian Watson, but they’re also facing one of the NFL’s best defenses.
This season, Jordan Love hasn’t been airing it out much, averaging just 29.5 pass attempts per game (excluding the season finale, when he was pulled early).
The Packers prefer to lean on their ground game when possible, but that strategy could be tough to execute against the Eagles. Philadelphia is allowing just 4.3 yards per carry and ranks as the third-best run defense in the NFL, according to PFF.
If the spread holds and the Packers fall behind, they’ll likely be forced to abandon the run and put the ball in Love’s hands more frequently. Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have Love attempting 33 passes in this contest.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Jordan Love More Than 31.5 Pass Attempts
Jaleel McLaughlin M/L Than 1.5 Receptions
Over his last three games, Jaleel McLaughlin has been targeted seven times and caught every pass, recording 2, 2, and 3 receptions, respectively, in those outings.
He’ll have another strong opportunity to grab a couple of catches against a Buffalo Bills defense that allows an average of 5.4 receptions per game to opposing running backs.
Adding to McLaughlin’s upside is the fact that this will be Bo Nix’s first playoff game. He’ll be in a high-pressure situation in a tough road environment. In such scenarios, quarterbacks often avoid forcing risky downfield throws and instead lean on safer checkdowns, which should boost McLaughlin’s target volume.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have McLaughlin pegged for two receptions in this matchup, but I believe the Broncos’ tailback will exceed that number.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Jaleel McLaughlin More Than 1.5 Receptions
