Colts-Ravens Week 3 Player Prop
Gardner Minshew O/U 205.5 Passing Yards
Expert: Greg Ehrenberg & OddsShopper
Indianapolis’ game plan will change with quarterback Gardner Minshew under center. The starter, rookie Anthony Richardson, is out due to a concussion after scoring two quick rushing touchdowns last Sunday. The skillset of Minshew, the Colts’ backup, is much different from Richardson’s, and it appears this is causing the market to undersell the yardage prop for the backup. He cannot run the same way Richardson does, so expect a more pass-heavy strategy. Minshew draws a good matchup against a weak Baltimore secondary. He racked up 274 and 355 passing yards in his two starts last season.

Chargers-Vikings Week 3 Player Prop
Keenan Allen O/U 6.5 Receptions
Expert: Greg Ehrenberg & OddsShopper
Austin Ekeler is out once again for the Chargers, likely leading the team to lean on the passing game this weekend against the Vikings. Without Ekeler on the field last weekend, Allen was targeted 10 times, hauling in eight of those passes for over 100 receiving yards. This makes the reception prop look a bit low on Allen, especially when the over is at plus money. As an added benefit, this game has the highest total on the slate by a touchdown. This game should be a shootout.

Falcons-Lions Week 3 Player Prop
Tyler Allgeier O/U 46.5 Rushing Yards
Expert: Greg Ehrenberg & OddsShopper
The analysis here is simple: Bijan Robinson is a stud. The Falcons used valuable draft capital to bring him on, and it looks like they are getting him heavily involved in the game plan early in his career. After getting 16 touches in Week 1, Robinson’s workload was bumped up to 23 touches in Week 2. Conversely, this meant a slight downtick in touches for Allgeier, which I expect to continue as the season progresses. Allgeier saw a couple fewer touches in Week 2 than he had in the opening game of the season. Assuming this trend continues, it’s going to make it difficult for Allgeier to hit the over on his props.
Expert Week 3 Prop Bet: Tyler Allgeier Under 46.5 Rushing Yards +115 at WynnBet
