Giants-Bengals Player Prop Pick for Theo Johnson

The New York Giants will once again be without their top receiver, Malik Nabers, this week. This creates more opportunities for players like tight end Theo Johnson.

Prior to Week 5, Johnson had just three receptions on eight targets. However, in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks, he caught all five of his targets for 48 yards.

Johnson will face a Cincinnati Bengals pass defense that ranks 29th in dropback EPA and 27th in dropback success rate. They’re also allowing 4.6 receptions and 49 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends.

With the Giants likely to trail and throw often to keep pace with the Bengals’ offense, expect Johnson to be a top target for Jones again this week.

Surprisingly, the Giants lead the league in fewest rushing touchdowns allowed per game at just 0.2. Aaron Jones is the only running back to score a rushing touchdown against them, and that was back in Week 1.

However, their run defense isn’t as strong as that stat suggests. The Giants rank 22nd in defensive rush success rate and allow 5.1 yards per carry.

Zack Moss is a prime candidate to take advantage of this. He has two rushing touchdowns and one receiving on the year, with 10 attempts inside the 10-yard line compared to Chase Brown’s two. Usage shouldn’t be an issue.

Additionally, Moss’s expected rushing touchdowns sit at 3.7. With a decent plus price, it’s worth taking a shot on Moss.
