Ahead of the matchup with the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, Williams needs just two touchdowns to break Barry Sanders’ franchise record of 16 rushing touchdowns.

Jamaal Williams Touchdown Props Popular

The chance to take over a Lions franchise record has made Jamaal Williams touchdown props even more of a hot commodity. Per DraftKings, Williams is -125 to score a touchdown, +450 to score two. According to Caesars Sportsbook, there are more bets on him to score two touchdowns than any other player prop on the Week 18 board.

Sunday Night Football also offers Williams an opportunity to return to Lambeau Field, where he spent the first four years of his NFL career. As a member of the Packers, Williams was viewed as more of a change of pace and spell back. Even when signing with the Lions prior to last season, he was still behind D’Andre Swift on the depth chart, and nobody could have imagined he’d be gunning for a Barry Sanders record during his tenure.

“Now, that’s big. Yeah, that’s huge,” Staley said of Williams potentially getting the record, per Yahoo Sports. “Oh no doubt, we all do, everybody in the building wants to see him go out there and do it. And tell you what, he’s going to have many chances.”

In the Week 9 win over the Packers, Williams ran 81 yards and no touchdown on 21 carries. But he’s coming off a career-best 144 yards performance with a touchdowns in a Week 17 win over the Chicago Bears.

The Packers-Lions game carries massive playoff implications, as well. Green Bay will earn the last NFC Wild Card spot with a win. For the Lions, they would need a win coupled with the Rams beating or tying the Seattle Seahawks in order to get the wild card spot.

“Either we’re playing to get in or we’re playing to be spoiler, and that’s it,” head coach Dan Campbell said, via Detroit Free Press. “So either way, we win.”

Regardless of the playoff situation, the Williams touchdown prop should have some value with players and coaches likely trying to get him the record. For those looking to get the best odds Williams props or any other bet in Packers vs. Lions, be sure to check out our OddsShopper tools.
