We’re winding down the Thursday Night Football games, and Week 17 is an absolute BANGER. OK, I lied. It’s Jets-Browns, so likely the opposite of a banger. But we can MAKE IT a banger with this +600 Jets-Browns same game parlay that I cooked up over at bet365 sportsbook. They’re giving us a 50% profit boost on this parlay, so we have to take advantage of it!
Jets-Browns +600 Same Game Parlay Bet for TNF
Amari Cooper 50+ Receiving Yards (TNF Player Prop)
Everyone saw Amari Cooper just absolutely hang one on the Houston Texans last week, setting the Cleveland Browns franchise records for most yards in a game. I mean, 265 yards is absolutely insane. It was a very Josh Gordon-esque performance.
Since Joe Flacco has taken over as the quarterback for the Browns, they’ve been CHUCKING it. And when I say chucking it, I mean CHUCKING IT!
In the four games Flacco has started, he’s thrown it 175 times! That’s almost 44 times per game — from a guy who came off a couch. What is happening?!?
Cooper has seen 42 targets in those four games. Yes, he did get 15 targets in Week 16, so it might SEEM like an outlier. However, Cooper did receive 14 targets from Flacco against Jacksonville just a few weeks back.
He’s looking Cooper’s way early and often, and that includes in the YOLO ball department as well. Cooper has longs of 22, 17, 51 and 75 in Flacco’s starts. So he could get us near or over the 50-yard hump on one catch alone, and we LOOOOVE that.
David Njoku 25+ Receiving Yards (TNF Player Prop)
The second-biggest beneficiary of Flacco under center has been David Njoku.
He’s seen 37 targets in the last four games and has cashed the over on 25-plus yards in three of those games. In fact, he’s averaging 64 yards in Flacco-started games and has receiving totals of 44, 104 and 91 in the last three.
The Jets aren’t notorious for giving it up to tight ends, but 25-plus yards is an easy enough number for Njoku to hit, especially with how frequently Flacco has been looking his way.
Side note: I actually like Njoku anytime touchdown at +210 this week as well!
Breece Hall 25+ Receiving Yards (TNF Player Prop)
Let’s just start this off by saying what the actual heck was that Jets game last week against the Commanders? I have zero words to try to explain it.
Breece Hall had 16 targets. I don’t know how else I can convey that I’m screaming the 16 part. But I am, in fact, screaming it.
Obviously, having Trevor Siemian in at quarterback was a big change for the Jets, and he was trying to dump the ball off to Hall as much as possible. But I would have never guessed a running back would have 16 targets in a game.
We’re likely to see something similar this week, with Siemian facing the Browns’ stout defense. They’ll be wanting to get the ball out quickly and not taking a ton of chances, so quick-hitters to Hall could be in line.
I’m not sure I want to get into the total receptions streets, but what I do love is explosive playmakers who can clear yardage milestones on one catch. Hall is one of those guys.
Let’s fire up the 25-plus receiving yards milestone and move on to the final leg of our Jets-Browns parlay.
OddsShopper’s betting model found another pricing disparity in the odds from this Jets-Browns game. Elijah Moore is -110 on bet365 to stay exceed 31.5 yards receiving, which is below the True Odds of -121 and far below the -144 odds at Pinnacle, a sharp book. That makes this wager on Moore a +EV Bet by 4%. For the rest of our model’s projections — more than just the NBA — subscribe to OddsShopper Premium!
Browns -6.5 (TNF Player Prop)
The Browns NEED this win against the Jets on Thursday night to keep everything going in their favor in terms of the NFL Playoff picture.
This Cleveland defense has been STELLAR at home as well. Now, they get to welcome in Trevor Siemian and the floundering Jets to the Dog Pound.
Obviously, it’s been an abysmal season for the Jets after all of the injuries they suffered, and now it’s down to Siemian to finish out the season. And he’s just not a good quarterback — obviously.
The Jets probably will not be able to move the ball well on the Browns defense, and I’d be surprised if they scored more than 10 or 12 points.
I’m not saying Joe Flacco is going to chuck it for a billion yards again, but Cleveland is capable of scoring 20-plus points in this game, and if they get there, they’ll cover the 6.5.
