Monday Night Football Parlay for Bears-Vikings & Falcons-Raiders

The bad news is we were a Geno Smith injury away from cashing last night’s same-game parlay. The good news is the NFL gods gave us two football games tonight! We have a divisional matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, then just 30 minutes later the Falcons will kick off in Vegas against the Raiders. It’s a jam-packed night with plenty of action and we have a Week 15 Monday Night Football parlay — this time spanning across two games.

Falcons-Raiders Over 44.5 Points

Don’t buy into all the hype about how bad the Vegas offense looks, especially with another backup quarterback. Don’t buy into the prime time struggles for Kirk Cousins either, at least not tonight. We have a strong advantage here backing something that seems to carry over week to week: Bad defenses making mistakes. Cousins should be able to move the ball in the air, and the Falcons defense is giving up over 25 points per game — not a great combo for fans who love defense.

Expect some big shots from the Raiders, who are desperate, and the Falcons need to take some risks themselves. There’s always a special teams blunder waiting to happen or even a Cousins pick-6.

Kirk Cousins 225+ Passing Yards

This fits with our over play as Cousins smashes a few narratives. The first is this primetime curse, as he played well in his past few games when the lights were brightest. He’s been fine throwing the football; even with a mistake or two mixed in, the yardage has been there. The other talking point is how long he will go without throwing a passing touchdown. Cousins has been blanked in four straight games but faces an awful defense that continues to lose players.

This is the definition of a “get right” matchup for Cousins specifically and the Falcons offense.

Bears-Vikings Under 44.5 Total

The earlier game should see a slower scoring rate while the game clock ticks. The Vikings come off a pounding of the Falcons where Sam Darnold had his best game of the year. It’s tough to keep that up the following week, especially a game against a divisional opponent. The added letdown element of facing a defeated Bears team also sneaks in, as Chicago’s season has been over for a bit. On their side, the Bears already showed they have zero interest in playing for their interim head coach — the offensive struggles again.

The Vikings are going to do the bare minimum to get out of a divisional fight without any injury, while the Bears are simply down to rock bottom.
